Should be handy, at very least will add midfield to the playing group and make even more competition for spots.

Based on ability, wont get a game for centrals so will go back to get a kick with mates. only reason Geelong took him was because of his brother.

Have to disagree on both fronts Beef. I've seen some of Varcoes VFL form and if he can overcome his 2nd knee reconstruction and find some form coming back through the 2's, I think there will be a spot in the league side for him.

Maybe as a small crumbing forward allowing say an Eddie Sansbury to play more midfield.

The Golden Grove lad / College basketballer, Jacob Templeton?

I think you'll find he is training out at Central District...

Jay Nash will play for the doggies this year.

The club just havent named him as a recruit due to he played for us last year. Same with PUMPA.

But technically he is a new signing for the club.

Every club has these type players at this stage of the year.

I know Central have a div 5 player from Smithfield out training with them. Chris James (appropiate name you would think) he trained last pre season and couldnt commit due to personal reasons but is back out there this year and impressing by all accounts.

Bottin-Noonan - well that is the first interstate name to get me excited this summer.

CD certainly have a history with NSW footballers.

This kid has some talent and a good season could see AFL calling.

They say 90% of the game is above the shoulders though so I am really looking forward to see if he can get it all to click or not.

This guy isn't anyone that's been mentioned. Nor has he ever been on any league or AFL radar before. Up until North called him he was hoping to play a few more A grade games for his club than B grade compared to last year. A good prospect, if you're a low grade amateur club, but not an SANFL league player.

Don't get me wrong, I wish the kid well, but a league player he aint. And if he typifies North's recruiting then North might have to prepare to be down the bottom for a while yet.

AFL hacks didn't work, we might as well as try the opposite end of the scale!

Interesting to see that Cody Hicks has finally moved on from the Eagles. I would have thought he would have been a good chance to follow Fuller to South.

Another in for North (from nafc.com.au):

North Adelaide Football Club would like to announce the signing of another player for season 2011...

David Hill

* 201cm Ruckman
* Played for Mt Gravatt in the QAFL (lead ruckman)
* 21 years old (in Feb)
* Played in State Under 23’s team vs VAFA last 2 years (in best players)

David is a talented young ruckman who we believe has the ability to develop into a fine player for NAFC in 2010 and beyond. In 2010, and whilst he is not a huge man in terms of bulk, he lead the Mt Gravatt ruck in the QAFL, coming up against players like Brett Charman, ‘Spider’ Everitt and Trent Knobel on a weekly basis, so he has had great opportunities to learn how to deal with big body players in his time there. His side, Mt Gravatt finished 4th in 2010.

We hope to have David in Adelaide and training with the Roosters mid February.
Piss weak SANFL and the CLOWNS who run it.

Depending on his NAB Cup form, Sturt might see a little bit of Richard Tambling in the early part of the season, which would be a bonus for them.

From Localfootysa...

Bulldogs trial basketballer - By Matt Turner

I think a while a few Norwood supporters were talking about this lad as he is from within their zone at Golden Grove...

I'm pretty sure one of the Dogs league players was/is going out with Jacob's sister which may be the reason he went out to Elizabeth for a run?
