thats good news for rosies imagine fetus and jimmy opening up the bowling lets hope his arm hold up hey!! i think it could make a huge difference to rosies chances of being real competitive or not in the finals its not that they dont have good bowlers now but a fit fetus and a rampant jimmy means trouble for other sides imho
They played together in Rd 1 didn't they ?
ya dont win finals in round 1 oz

is there any chance you are being half serious?? lets face it, not sure fanta, both smithys, scott, creedy, leg spinner, mcnair, would be happy with the year so far..ie training..after game bonding..performances on the field...so it wouldnt suprise me if there is talk amongs a few about leaving?? and if that is the case i think there is a big chance 2 grade 2 teams would come up next year..
If you would like me to be serious, i shall.
Looking at the future for OTH can't be good at the moment. Obviously with McNair already having left catchit and with the performances so far this season being not up to par, you would think that most people will be contemplating their future at the club. I made the deal with Smitty at the end of last year that I would come back to play with a couple of my mates in order to try and win a premiership. That goal has obviously not been fulfilled, in fact that never looked like happening from early this season. I didn't get paid by OTH, nor did I ask to be, my arrangement was that I would be there for this season only. I will be moving on next year, and have heard whispers of others that may be moving on. I won't name names on here as to who they are, but in short, yes Catchit there may be no grade 1 OTH team next year if things continue to go the way they are now, which will make way for 2 clubs to go up. Something needs to be done in order for them to remain competitive in the comp, whether that be paying some player to go to the club to play/coach or by having a better focus on the way that they conduct trainings etc. Paying people will only bring a short relief as I have been invovled in a club that payed players only to have them leave a year or two go from A1 finalists to A2 cellar dwellers.
Serious enough for you?

As for oz facing jim and mick he is more than capable of facing them but as we all know it takes one good ball or one false shot and its head down and walk off...just doing it in the finals makes it that little bit more special... If its for under 50

yeah catchiti didnt mean he wasnt capable i know he is very capable would be one of the best batters in div 1 from what ive seen i meant it would be good to see a quality batter against jimmy and mick playing his shots and from what i seen at the charity match he has plenty of them!!

Are you doing grade 3 and 4 as well?
In my opinion, surely the units have secured the minor flag in grade 3, and in grade 4 would take a very brave man to pick the side to take top spot and 4th spot.

We have a game in hand on CU who get no points this week due to having the bye while we play PG, we are 7.5 points behind CU so effectively if we win and get around 10 points we will be 2.5 points ahead of CU.
