Just sick of hearing or over hearing how good North Haven are going to be this year by most people involved in the club in local bars and pubs. The simple fact is they were relegated two years in a row, the guys that are playing this year are the same guys that have been playing for the last 2 or more years with little to no improvement and they have recruited 1 player.

well but will it be 2 years in a row?????

i have on very good word that smithfield are in real trouble could be having just 1 side! and i know this rumor has been around for ever  but this time i hear coach JOSS has gone and players leave'n left right and center so haven's might stay up in 5!

Interesting to say the least, everyone on here knows my thoughts on the teams at North Haven so there is no need for me to go on about how digustingly bad they would be in Div 5 let alone Div 6.
Might be more benefical having half a smithfield side than a full compliment of North Haven players in Div 5.
They are straight to their word, they don't talk a lot of smoke and mirrors behind windows.

So your opinion is quite clear and ive been proven wrong before but i don't think Haven will be relegated you might just be over reacting a little bit I think. We will hold our own against most opposition this year.

And FYI Dempsey isn't confirmed to be playing at all he has work and family committments.

Well they barely had a two sides last year, in Round 18 at Haven their B Grade had about 16 players I reckon and it has happened occasionally in the past but in saying that im sure Smithfield will get two sides together, if Joss has gone though it could be difficult

I'm sure Havens will be fine and have used their resources to recruit well. A couple of players I know were chased by them, so I don't think the club would have left too many stones unturned in search for a boost to their stocks.

If they put the same team on the park as last year they will be more than competitive with a drop in grade (maybe) and some natural improvement from their kids.

That's the plan.

Hey Beef, heard about your request to us for a trial match under lights on the Friday the 4th of March, sounds good. How do your lights go? Even though it's still fairly bright enough during the evening at this time of year, are they bright enough for you blokes to hold a night game?

I heard last night that it's not happening now. When I heard about it I did wonder if it was possible for you guys to host a night game, apparently not.
