Yes they have but I don't know the reasoning behind it.

Probably backs up what I have just said about Jimmy and Rocket leaving Reynella

The Hills being the way it is I know many people from Onkas and all seemed happy with the coach, so personally this is surprising. They also made the 5 which was no certainty with Hahndorf missing out on percentage and Ironbank having to lose to the bottom side to miss out. So I thought things were going fine over there.

That makes it one season at Onkas, one as Assistant Coach at Edwardstown, two at Reynella and two at South Clare (I think)?

Big Dave is a good bloke but I think clubs work out after a season or two that he is not much of a coach. He would fit in well at a club if he didn't have aspirations to be the main man.

I agree. They have been on the track since Nov with good numbers so it must be a 'committee' thing rather than a 'player' thing? The B. Neeley deal falling through wouldnt have anything to do with it? Disapointing news for onkas who have gone through a few coach's the past few years!

On the matter of promo/relegation.......Has Birdwood nominated to come up again next year so will the fight to avoid relegation be on amongst the bottom clubs again this year?

What happened with the Neely deal? Is it true then that Torrens Valley have poached him?

Stand to be corrected but before they can nominate I believe they have to make the GF.

Have heard a rumour that there will be an announcement regarding a pre-season 20/20 night tournament involving a few Hills clubs to be held at Hills grounds coming soon. All I've heard is that it kicks off in February but haven't heard of any clubs or anything yet.

Anyone know where TV are at with points for this year. ie what do they have carried over on existing players + the new guys they have picked up. Surely Ellis x 2, and Hunter would just about have them brimming? Strange that they are would be trying to lure more from their fresh imports old clubs too.

So nobody knows?

6 clubs involved. Echunga, Mt Lofty and Hahndorf I believe. Not sure of others.

Teams are:

Mt Barker, Mt Lofty, Hahndorf, Echunga, Tailem Bend & Plympton.

3 Central Teams I believe to be fielding U25 teams with perhaps just a couple of older blokes.

First Game will be at Hahndorf on the 18th (I think)

Any word on the NEXT Onkas coach...I think R Godson is the reserves coach but doubt whether he will get the nod...
