I nearly gave in and got a ticket to see Iggy on Sunday, but really glad I didn't now as it's going to be 40 degrees in Melbourne. I've already see Iggy in 40(+)degree heat - 1993 - don't need to do that again.

So who's going friday??

We'll be there with Paralowie footy guernseys on once again. I'll be the one wearing #23 and sporting a mullet.

I'll be hoping to see:

Rammstein
Iggy Pop
MIA
Deftones
Die Antwoord
Birds of Tokyo
Gyroscope
Children Collide
LCD Soundsystem
and maybe abit of Airbourne

I haven't sussed out the timetable yet, so im unsure if anything clashes. The top 5 of my list are the ones I really want to see (didnt get to see Iggy's set last time he was here), the others im not fussed about because i've seen them before.

Apparently the John Butler Trio cut into the Stooges playing time with a drum solo  :vom:
Latest news from Flemington is that three ferals are having a wash and shave to avoid being detected by 30,000 + irate Stooges fans who want to use their heads as footballs. :axe:

For those that need to know these things, I'm not sure why, but...police are holding an interview tomorrow at the Showgrounds with a drug dog. Whatever could that be for?

Typically the 'hype' surrounding the dogs attendance far outweighs its actual presence.

LOL I found the best way is to sacrifice one in the hood of someone in front. While they get the 3rd degree its plain sailing... 8)

PS managed a back stage pass this year- typical, when there isnt anyone I am a huge fan of :) Looking forward to it.

Will keep an eye out for you Real # 3, I remember seeing you boys at Soundwave a couple years back...
