My parents, who live at Glenelg, love their caravan so much they tow it all of 3 kms to West Beach Caravan Park to have a week "by the beach", even better despite being retired they do it in School Holidays when there are people everywhere :lol: :lol:

I know a couple of people that drive around 10 k and stay there too. Can't understand why.

I always thought Glenelg was about Adelaide's northernmost adequate beach.
Anywhere north of that you have to walk too far to get an adequate depth of water for swimming most of the time..

A holiday camp my family went to when I was a kid in Ireland (Mosney Holiday Centre) is now a detention centre for asylum seekers!
They don't keep me here because I'm gorgeous and 5'10

The missus and the resident belligerent teenager arguing about the height of BT's skirt hems for her first day of high school next week.

I told Mrs Dedj to build a bridge as her little girl is growing up. O:-)

watching the news tonite and the story about the crazy yank that shot her kids for talking back....

I looked straight at miss 7yo and said see what happens when u talk back....

very wrong i know, but the wife and i got a good laugh out of it
