STILL having a 38c temp after 5 days and having to miss going to my high school reunion tonight as a result :(

I don't get that one either. This is Australia, the weather is hardly new at this time of year. I really like it also and enjoy getting out in it.

Having had since November to complete two TAFE assignments by the end of January..and starting them today :roll: (Im only half way through the first..should probably log off SAfooty)

Supermarkets cutting out lines months before the product is replaced with a new version so they don't get stuck with any of the older product and have to discount it to move it.
But the real issue is them telling the customer the product is no longer being made by the manufacturer.

I had this issue come up with Sargents Steak and Onion pies which both Woolworths and Coles said was no longer being made.
Sargents said, when I rang their toll free number, that they made a batch "yesterday".
They also told me they are bringing out an "Aussie Angus Beef and Onion" replacement in March, and the supermarkets know this.
They sent me a few free packs of the current version to tide me over.

One intriguing thing was that Woolworths head office told me by email that hadn't carried that line in SA since 2007.
Yet I've been buying it at their local outlet since I arrived in March 2009 until about 2 months ago... :?

having a Windows Mail conflict where a single (rancid) email was accidentally sent to me on Saturday night and it just keeps on rolling in. I can't stop it!!!!! Spent two hours on phone to bigpond dude in Phillipines this morning who apologised after trying all his solutions and said I will need to ring Microsoft. They are not on deck until tomorrow...meanwhile I cant get emails in or out. Wish you could swear uncontrollably on this lovely site!!!!!! Grrrrrrrrr
