I have heard this as well but as I don't know anyone at Kenilworth directly I haven't read too much into it, could be right though if others are hearing the same thing.
I have a problem. It's to do with the little man, the squashed-in French man, the naked little squashed up hairy boy! You know! With the hand feet

With the amount of money I have heard is being thrown around by them.. I heard one guy got offered $350.. i'm not surprised.

Did they pick up a few A graders from Hackham in SFL?

i am not at KFC but you pick up bits and things here and there :)

their last newsletter featured about a dozen names of recruits but no-one of note besides warland and maybe gane from bridgey..most of them would play B/C grade..about 4-5 from hackham now probably including mo$ar who would play A grade..dont know about any others they may have got..with the carry over points from 2010 they may have some trouble as hackham or similar type players from SFL or HFL carry 3 points with them..hence my call a month ago they would go back to back in the ressies..no shortage of "incentive$" at st marys..hope that helps

Excuse my ignorance but where do Kenilworth get their money from?

Also I was under the impression Hackham weren't the greatest and if Kenilworth are picking up fringe players from them they wouldn't be stars I would have thought

I have a mate who was paid approximately that amount a game for half a season (went overseas) and another who was offered substancially more! Bloody lot of money for a middle of the road div 6 club, would have thought there were plenty of other things to spend money on up at St.Mary's.

Can you imagine this christmas present..... a former AFL vice captain last night met with coach and agreed to 4 matches with haven during off periods of his paramedic vocation. This will qualify him for a finals appearance should he get the time off.

If you're talking about the player I'm thinking of, it has been mentioned before. I have no idea why he would come to North Haven of all places, but he does live in the area and the grade we play in might have something to do with it, as he might not want to play at a higher level or he just can't anymore.

If this is true, it'll be good for us to have a fairly high profile player play for us and I look forward to seeing him around the club whenever that is.

Bradyn Lyle is pushing 40 now though, he is either 38 or 39 this year. I know he is fit, see him running all the time but he hasnt played footy for a few years.

Not trying to create havoc but have also heard that Adrian setter was going to register for haven this year. Roller has asked him to run some fitness sessions for the boys, so it could be true. Even though old he is fitness guru at SANFL. Level and D6 would be a walk in the park,[flash=][/flash]

I also heard Dexter Kennedy is going to ruck for them, and Tim Evans is going to play full forward - when they dont have lawn bowls commitments...

I'm sure the bloke busting his chops only to get dropped to the 2's for a bloke who comes out for 4 runs a year will be happy with that!!

Sorry to disappoint everyone but both these rumours are untrue, Settre is the U/14 coach and has been giving Roller advice on drills and fitness ideas as has Tim Ginever but will certainly not be playing. As for Lyle, I believe Roller knows him and had approached him to take a training session during the year and that will be it.

Here this arguement all the time, it is completely ridiculous. We are a a mens A Grade side not U/6 Auskick. The best team gets picked if you don't like it you can go play Tennis.

Regardless there will be no ex AFL vice captain at North Haven

That money in Div 6 is insane, North Haven have got an entire team on less than that and I would have thought we would have been one of the bigger spenders in Div 6. For that money you would want someone from SANFL Reserves or a quality Div 1 player
