Heading your way Goldy? Handy pickup if that's the case.

Against us, apparently signed for Mypolonga

If you believe what's written on the forums ( :-? ) then Henley may be losing more than just McDonnell.

I was talking to a mate from broadies yesterday and asked him how could they be under the points system. Considering they have picked up 4 from modbury, a bloke from centrals and he and his brother played at modbury in 09 so they still would have points. He kept telling me that div1 and 2 have 30pts to play with and div3 onwards 15. Is that true xan anyone confirm that. I was under the impression it was 15 for all divs and all leagues...

It certainly doesn't say that on the information from the league. 15 for everyone.

So your talking about a Mitchell brother then, and that wouldnt suprise me that one of them gave the answer of that ;) . Broadies surely cannot be under the 15 points including their carry over and additions. I have a feeling a few lads could be looking for new homes very close to the season once they determine who they want to keep.

Apparently my source has played 50+ games for broadies so carries no points. Still not sure how they are under the 15pts cos they also picked up a bloke from the country so there is another 3pts.

Mate, quit your whinging and get over it. I'm pretty sure that all the boys that have come over are more than happy to be part of The Broadview Football Club, with retirements and players leaving the club over the off season, they will all play and stay part of our club. And geez, maybe they might not make A grade and might have to plays 2's for a while, points don't matter then do they?

Relax mate, it was a 'general' comment in response to Hollywood. Nothing personal and def not whinging! The issue of points is being bought up all over these boards and can/will have affect some teams.

Fair call, its about the 5th time you've mentioned it though. We won't be the only side with points issues, but i'm sure the powers that be have got it under control, i'd say too many players is a better problem than some other clubs if we all believe what is being written on here.

Gepps Cross have had 16 clearances out and have only picked up Boothey from Paralowie? What's going on at the Northgate Sporting Club.

I had heard the two Clark brothers were looking elsewhere, and I think a couple of others have headed out Willaston way.

I wouldn't worry about what is going on out there. According to Aceman, Greg Anderson has everything under control and they are all happy with where they are at

Oh yeah, but would he really know?

I have it on good authority from a couple of players that have moved to willaston from gepps x that there may be up to 20 players leaving the club .

I am still yet to hear where cockers is off too. He was runner for GG in there final series this year so i would've thought he was off to there but sounds as though the decision is yet to be made.

Definitly not back out to his junior club GG despite us wanting him. But he was only out for the finals as his dad is the A grade team manager...
I love grapes. With grapes, you always get another chance. You know, if you have a crappy apple or a peach, you’re stuck with that crappy piece of fruit. If you have a crappy grape, no problem-just move on to the next. ‘Grapes: The Fruit of Hope.
