Just finished True Colours, which is the Adam Gilchrist bio...

Couple of stories in there I hadn't heard, and it never ceases to amaze me the self-doubt the guy had in his own ability, whilst destroying Test bowling line-ups...

3 out of 5 stubbies...

Matty Hayden's is next.

Good book.

All in all, as a very social punter (Sat and some Sundays) it puts it all in perspective. The book was (pardon the pun) quite addictive.

Now reading...

Remembering Hookesy.

Been a long, long time since I read any modern fiction as non-fiction is more my taste but one of my best mates talked me into giving the Jack Reacher series a go. Started the first one last night and only up to chapter 5 but loving it so far...why on earth haven't these been adapted for TV/film yet??? :-??

I love the Reacher books. Great fun ! I hope they don't make a TV/Movie thingy as IMO they'd detract from the books.

I've read all of 'em and they're great !!

Just finished;

I have read one Reacher book,"Nothing to Lose" and I can't think how making it into a movie could make it any worse.
I know books,like music are a personal taste thing but I thought this was appalling.

Edit:Currently reading "House to House" by David Bellavia,an account of the US storming of Fallujah.

Ben Cousins Auto biog

Been a good read so far. It starts at when he realised how out of control his partying was (the point he left his old boy in a bus shelter while he scored drugs) and then started from the his child hood.
