Scott Williams to Broadview aswell

Think there was another bloke looking to return to broadview as he was a junior there........ would be a handy pick up under the new point system!! Williams is a quality player. big losses for the hawks if all is true

will still need to i would have thought..... been doing some quick sums on what has been posted and carry over points i cant get anywhere near 15 ;)

but im not interested in broadies but the number is 4 from MFC. Sad that these blokes have left, they are still mates with the lads and i hope they return next year.

At MFC we have had between 35-45 on the track since well before christmas. Matt Jolly is implementing a solid and challenging pre season which will ramp up in the next few weeks no doubt.

I think we have trials confirmed against TTG and Gaza but am unsure of the dates of these

probably not until around 3 or so weeks before the season starts - it all depends on the C grade teams and how many may pull out etc...

So talk has centred around MFC and Iggies so far this season

Anything to add next to the teams below:

Iggies - recruited heavily
Modbury - lost 4, will get key players back from injury
Adelaide University - lost the McEntees and Kurzels? can anyone confirm
Athelstone - picked up one or 2, i know a few lads out there arent happy however
Payneham NU
Port District - picked up Gunning
Prince Alfred OC
Rostrevor OC
St Peter's OC
Walkerville

nick kurzel is overseas
i believe james mcentee has ventured to keith
but believe that their other halves are staying
uni will pick some up through study, lose others to interstate and overseas and utilise social aka drinking connections for others. without venturing to training as of yet, i'd expect us to be around the place in most grades again.

Athelstone have picked up Dean Rossi and a midfielder from one of the Hills clubs, not quite sure of his name though.

Yeah it is, Iggies were very close to signing him as he went to school there but could not match the offer that Athelstone made to him. Good luck to him, very good lad.
