Magpies’ season ticket and home-match ticket holders and Norwood season ticket holders will all receive admission to the double-header day as part of their memberships - that is, at no extra cost. They will be admitted to the members’ area

http://www.portadelaidefc.com.au/news/newsarticle/tabid/6038/newsid/106835/default.aspx

The same admission structure will apply for Sturt Football Club members for the Round 10 Magpies v Double Blues curtainraiser on Sunday, June 5 before the Power v Carlton AFL clash.

Someone may have said this already but the draw/fixture that Wedgie attached originally says that C1 starts at 11.15pm (night) and C2 at 12.45am (morning). Some after game visits to the nightclubs in store for some of the players and officials (oh, and spectators)?

I'm sure the SANFL would've fixed this up by now

So my partner and myself use our season tickets and sit in the members, whilst our kids pay $2.50 each and sit where?? With us or in the outer?? Clarification please.

And if it's the outer there surely must be designated area(s) for the first game .. Would get sick of anchor seat members asking you to move along every 5 minutes

Good luck with that, as these days you need to have your membership card with the pass out.

Was just having a look at the draw online and noticed something interesting I'm not sure anyone else has mentioned earlier...

Elizabeth Oval now has another name change with a new oval naming rights sponsor...

It was previously known as Hamra Homes Oval but noticed on the draw legend it had: PA - Playford Alive Oval

http://www.sanfl.com.au/files/_system/F ... apshot.pdf

I certainly understand the imprortance of sponsorship $$$ but like many, I'm a traditionalist and I'll still always refer to it as Elizabeth Oval.

Another name to add to the list the northern suburbs venue has/is reffered to now:

- Elizabeth Oval
- The Ponderosa
- NAP Oval
- Hamra Homes Oval
- Playford Alive Oval

P.S - For those that aren't aware, Playford Alive is a new urban renewal project out in the northern suburbs of Adelaide.

Not sure what you're looking at gadj1976. The draw clearly shows C1 as 11.15am and C2 as 12.45pm.

I'm getting my footy fix 3 times a week as a volunteer at pre-season training.

In fact, I was very happy this year as we got 6 wks off before pre-season started instead of 5 :D

To anyone else having footy withdrawls, Clubs are always looking for volunteers people ;)

The following is a copy of a post over on Redleg Talk:

Hi,
I have been having some correspondence with Carly re kids entry to the Members at Aami for the Magpies game.
I have a season ticket so am able to sit in the Members and wanted to see how to get my kids in there as well.
Considering that the kids are normally free to go to SANFL games I am not very happy with the SANFL's reply as shown below.

[Hi All,

Following queries regarding the possibility of SANFL Club Season and Home Match ticket holders being able to purchase Guest Passes into the Members Reserve for the upcoming SANFL Curtain Raiser matches at AAMI Stadium, the following process will be in place :

§ Should a Season or Home Match Ticket Holder (with access rights to the Curtain Raiser) wish to bring a friends or family member to the match, they will be able to purchase up to two (2) guest passes into the Members Reserve. These will be available at the regular Guest Pass price and can be purchased on the day from Gate 6.

Adults $40

Concession $30

Junior (aged 6-14) $15

§ If a Season Ticket Holder from either Club, or Home Match Ticket Holder from the home Club does not wish to sit in the Members Reserve, they can head to Gate 4a at the Northern end of the Stadium, and present their ticket to the ticket window to redeem a reserved seat in the Public Area.

§ All other Club Members, or Home Match Ticket Holders for the away Club, will be able to purchase their discounted ticket from Gate 4a upon presentation of their Club Membership card.

An updated ticketing access table has been attached for your reference.

Should you have any further queries, please let me know.

Thanks,

LIZ POTTER
Stadium Administration Coordinator]

So at the moment I either pay $30 for the two kids to be in the Members or I go and get a reserved seat in the Outer.
Not impressed and going on previous posts on here reckon there's a few others that will feel the same. END OF QUOTE.

I briefly spoke to Consumer Affairs in my lunchbreak today and the lady is going to look into this. She believes that because I purchased 4 kid's membership which clearly advertised "free entry to all minor games" in November and the fact that the SANFL would have had to agree with this advertising, a breach of the false advertising act may of occured.

She is going to investigate and has asked me to ring back on Tuesday - stay tuned!!

Good on ya fester69. Hope it "opens the gates" for the Norwood and Sturt season ticket holders to get what they paid for. It would be a tragedy if you had to pay twice to see 1 game of footy.
