Freeling has stuart lamond ....probably the best, very versatile and can play forward as well
Kapunda has Turrell good tap ruckman and takes marks....but probably better than him is Brady who they are trying to make into a CHF
Willaston has a young fella called Graham goes ok
South - has Kennedy reasonably mobile

I vaguely know Glen - I think he's a cousin of the Switalas. But I never played against him - bit younger than me.

ex player- certainly not having a go at Ocka- just a statement that he failed to go the distance with kilburn during those years- the teams they had at that time were as good as any going around amateur footy- I agree that probably the back room problems did impact on these performances. Kilburn have gone down ever since (take out Delany year)- things not likely to get better while same guys stay in control. He is a very good player person- gets a bit angry at times though!!

you are right about being a players person
he has taken a lot of players and made them into something on and off the field
yes i have felt his tongue a few times when he has got angry, but i admit i stuffed up
i know talking to people that one prelim he should have won, but 2 set shots 20 metres out were points in the dying seconds and was done by a couple of points, and another prelim he had 17 players for 3/4s of the game.
i would suggest kilburn would want him back there and understand one a1 club offered him the world ( double what he is getting now) but congrats to him he committed to the bulldogs and honoured his word

Hunter can play. Grew up in Loxton.
Haven't seen him in a few years - but has lots of flair and good goal sense. Get the feeling he likes a party too.
Pretty certain he's reasonably good mates with Mal Greenwood (Tanunda) too.

Doggie you forgot to mention that Ricky Hunter is a two time colts premiership player at Wunkar. Honest mistake.

Des Deuter

Postby 200 Killer Wasps » Thu Feb 15, 2007 12:48 pm

Des Deuter is teaching at Kimba this year.

I remember him in the late 90's playing for Willaston and he was a top player then.
Would he still be capable and where has he been in the meantime.
