now I can't resist, while our club has had indegenous players in the past and probably will continue to do so in the future, we keep it to a minimum and we make sure they are qaulity players and qaulity people. That is where the difference is westcoastpanther.

Talk about foot in mouth...

Sorry for all the smilies but you've made my day

We are on to it.

LDS care to name any names or are you to scared?

I think you will find 5CC got the cricket report wrong in a lot of cases from what I have heard.

Totally agree, Bostons also do this now (now that they don't take anyone and everyone, been well documented) and we told a couple last year, thanks but no thanks.

Your original point however was only Bostons would pursue MP players, when your club is leading the way this year.

Can anyone find out as this is getting beyond a joke as to who is playing who.

It's always been Souths vs Waybacks Wed night and SES vs Charlton Thurs night.
Henderson Shield final looks like Eastern Eyre (2 wins) vs either Pt Lincoln (1 win) or Kimba (1 win). Gonna come down to % and we should find out for certain in the next day or so.

Have you been told who is playing the B Grade finals on them nights?

At the risk of extending this thread too long There are some very talented indigenous players out there and wanting to explore
other avenues at the moment. But I think all clubs in the past have made some poor decisions some by taking individuals they shouldnt or in other cases being affected by the hangers on.
Anyone hark back to Jackamarra for Souths best FF I had ever seen never missed.
But caused absolute havoc during the week. Also they dont hang around for to long, the pressure to play for MP
usually is pretty strong.

Tige I dont know Wes but that would make the fourth club he has played for in 12 months.
Magpies, Marion FC(with a debt) from what I read, MPFC and possibly Rangers.
Having seen him in action he is a gun and Zoomer will be licking his lips!

Could be 5, as Wes and Kingsley were named a couple of times for the Northern Bullants in the VFL reserves last year as well.

As for Marion, that is the second time he has left them hanging so to speak....hopefully they have learned this time.

I don't know that Wes would play anywhere other than MPFC in Lincoln, but I would think that Kingo will follow him.

FWIW, they're both still in Lincoln, playing baseball for Indians, and cricket for Tasmans, so it isn't like last year at all...

The Toka thing is good IMHO... A strong willed bloke who isn't afraid to speak his mind, and will provide a strong direction after a few years of the League meandering aimlessly, puffing it's chest on Mortlock wins...
