Fred was at PNU bY 2000. He left BKFC by 2000 anyway. There is no point me asking FIGJAM because he will just claim it

I was thinking Chris Munro when you first said it, then maybe Toffoli but I can't see him getting up on peoples shoulders (He'd just run though them  ) and he was at Kenilworth by then. Geoff Clarke sounds like the candidate.

God i hope it was Rino T but i dont reckon i played with Reens Until i got to PNU. Yes its probably the now fat over rated tight short champ of yesteryear GEOFFREY "tHE mULLET" cLARK. The C in his sur name is small to represent his small....( not guts nowdays)

My really poor memory means I can't even think of his name either. Maybe one of the old Haven lads can help out here...

I remember the incident.............I was playing that game..............but I can't actually remember who the person was either?

The name Jamie keeps coming to me for some reason... I dunno.

The above was almost as good as the return game, when a guy who played for Havens (with a rugby background) spear tackled a poor BK player to the ground and he was gone for the count - he wasn't in a good way afterwards!

Jamie twaddle......that's it......guy was a lunatic!!!! funny man though.
nugget was the rugby player...............he only played one season of footy..............being from rugby the only way he knew to tackle was to spear tackle.......almost killed a couple of people that year!!
There are no stupid questions, just stupid people.

quite possibly the worst oval in the southern hemisphere would be a toss out of bridgewater, ironbank or mt barker!!!
you could almost kick from one end to the other on bridgeys or ironbank and mt barkers is generally a sand pit!!

I played there a few times, always remember the first match that was played there in the old days, it had to be in the mid to late 60's.

We (Hectorville) played Burnside, there were still pieces of broken glass, strands of wire and rusty old iron only 1/2 inch below the surface, almost every player had skun knees and hands with cuts all over them, a lot of our players ended up getting infections, still the Burnside boys were tough old bastards in them days, looking back it was a lot of fun sort of like going dancing in a minefield.
I wish my remembering was as good as my forgetting

One of the best has to be Milang oval, nice and spongey. A tad hard to bounce the ball on though. Not that I ever bounced the ball!!!
One of the worst was the old Kersbrook oval, bbbrrrrr, bad memories there!

I grew up playing on the Old Kersbrook oval. Bloody shocker by the middle of winter. Bridgewater and Ashton were terrible. Best surface I have seen by a mile is Goolwa.

Hope Valley in the late 90's wasn't the best oval to keep your footing on...
