remember pp you guys only had 1 win last year and finished bottom. connor got a run in a grade last year and did alright. pretty sure he will kick a bag if stays at ff this year coz the shanty will make the fianls in u17's. they have been training since october and there all keen as mustard to do well this year after missing out on finals last year. never no connor may leave like other prev players looking at playing in a premiership in u17 but eventually get knocked out in pretty well straight sets in finals!

Bridgy 17's wont make finals who cares if they have been training since october wont make them much better with the coach they got they did it last year and got pumped by 25 goals round 1. they can be as fit as they wont most clubs will still beat the pants off them and wont be sick of football by round 5 like most of them last year

still better to make the finals, finishing second after the minor round, and winning a courier cup than not making the finals at all right ron... jeremy? and bridgy did the same thing last which is the important thing to remember... and were ave. yes connor is a good player but they had breeny and smithy playin last year who arent there this yr... they wont make the finals il put my left one on it.

didn't realise a courier cup was so great! they are improving their skills and fitness and are keen on doing well. just remember you guys are only one team, if they lose to you dosn't mean they wont make the fianals! there are other teams you play against. they finished 6th last year and played some good games. there are still a few quality players in the u17. breeny missed allot of games last year along with being injuried as well. lets just hope shanty make it thru to finals coz u can pencil in a win against ironbank!

Lets not forget who got Breeny INJ. Thats right a hard hitting Ironbank team, We take it to the next level playing for the (Furber Dunbar Morgan Cup) means alot to us boys

Muffy is a champion country footballer and will do well with Ironbank. I would say though that over the last 3 or 4 years hes been fairly injury prone, generally averages about a third of a season on the sidelines, hamstrings etc.

GTS, here's a way to present on the flank...run around with one arm up horizontal to the ground at neck hight. you may drop a few like you dropped Schutta that time! Then you get to trot to the bench and flex your guns to the crowd after you get the red card and leave more room for Maddog madsen to snag goals. In fact it wouldn't surprise me if that were one of his tactics this year, we all know how much he thrives on a sausage roll!

Weekend was mental GTS, Snoop Dogg was there it was a total classic!

LTSO you should look into becoming a stay at home forward. big frame and hans like a steel trap. how was it on the weekend with a few of the lads over.
ps. can you teach GTS how to present from the forward flank. he needs a bit of work

A stay at home forward you say KYF, is that b/c i'm slow and nearly snap every time i attempt a ruck contest? I still claim to be a true blue full forward after my 9 goal haul back in the days when i was playing for the cabbage cutters(what the **** were my parents thinking?)! And i would have had 10 mind you had one Paul (Pucker Malloy) Richards not intercepted the ball when i was on a clear lead....prick! Okay so it was under 10's...but hey it's still 9 of the best!

didn't realise having passion for a club and guernsey meant you were soft. i think soft is when you run away from a club when things get to hard. just ask the candi stripes like stapletons who got flogged every week but never left the club coz they played for the jumper. watever bcc!

whatev ron! why did u leave ironbank wen they werent successful to play for shanty who actually were decent in juniors back then?? i didnt leave bridgy coz we were losing, i left coz all my mates played at ironbank and a big part of why i started footy was headed that way too!

There's nothing soft about crying when you lose! Passion for the geurnsey is what's it's all about Ron! I'm sure you had given your all the whole year, and when your all provides nothing but disappointment, it's hard to swallow!

Not that i'm in a position to talk about club pride and so forth as some might say i'm a bit of a club slut, i'm about to start playing for 4th club(due to an interstae move)! Although I like to think though that i can justify my moves and i've always played my guts out for whoever it may be I was playing for. But footy ahs been the cause of a few tears for me:

Back in my junior days I cried every time i went to Uraidla not only b/c my parents made me play on a field that stunk like cabbages rain hail and shine, but half the time i couldn't feel my friggen hands, so I cried about that too...how are you supposed to eat the oranges at half time when you can't even feel your hands?

I also cried after missing the '02 A Grade GF b/c I tripped over myself trying to EXIT a brawl out front of the Hanhdorf Inn the week b4...yep, i was paro! Here's a tip, don't get paro the week b4 a GF and try and help your mate out when he starts getting bashed! All other times...provide help!

Once again i shed a tear last year when I realised my metro-sexual brother won a GF b4 i did!!!
