You on track for a round 1 comeback Morell? Will you play any trials?
Barring any setbacks I should be mate, need to get my ass into gear but I am going to give it a crack. I have to admit I probably underestimated the severity of tearing an ACL and the work required to get back, I thought I was David Rodan there for a little while...

Hope to play in the trials, we usually have one against one of the SFL clubs - Marion and Hackham in the last two years. Not sure what the plans are this year, maybe Edwardstown ;)

Good to hear mate!
We have a key player of ours in the same position as you and I am hoping we'll have him back by round 1 also.

Our trials matches have just been finalised...we'll be playing Blackfriars & Rosewater. 2 tough games but we're looking forward to it.

Anyone else got theirs sorted? I know Glenunga are playing Central United in one.

Is everyone back at training yet?
I know that Mawson Lakes will be waiting a few more weeks to start which although unusual might be a good thing for them after last year.
What is everyones numbers like and how is everyone recruitment going?
I know that a couple of teams have recruited quite well and also that some of the teams that dont get much of a mention have strengthened their lists for next year.
Phantom where are you having a kick this season?
As for the final makeup of the grade will probably depend on whether they get a div 8 comp together for the C and D grade sides as I had heard rumoured and also whether sides like Wingfield, North Pines and Ovingham can get the numbers to operate 2 sides as well. I know that the league is quite keen to make sure that if those sides come in that they show that they can have the numbers to sustain two teams throughout the year.

No idea where ill play at this stage if i play at all, looks like it will be a busy year for me already with other stuff going on.

I would be very suprised if Wingfield & Ovingham got two sides up.

As for ML, i hear they are looking to become more physical this season, and looking to receive some assistance with tackling... ??

I agree. I dont think that the 3 teams I mentioned will get the numbers required for this year. Are you putting your hand up to help with tackling coaching Phantom?
Geoff has a very good footy head and im sure he will be on top of any weaknesses that they had last year with his recruiting.
Are you training at Ovingham. I wouldnt mind having a run with someone for fitness although not looking at playing.

He has asked me to come out and help, at this stage i have agreed to help but i guess that depends on whether i play at the farm or not. Yeah training at Ovies, but a hectic week this week so wont be back out there until next.
Come get some fitness... and sit in the forward pocket ;)
