Thats what they said last tournament before australia pathetically crashed out

Didn't Australia lose to Japan last tournament? How is that 'pathetically crashed out'? Also JTC did mention that Aus and Jap will meet in the Final unless they meet beforehand...

I saide pathetically because they played rubbish in early rounds. If we had finished to in oir group we wouldnt have met japan until final. We WERE pathetic last asian cup

For memory i think cahill got a late equaliser against oman before we were hammered by those powerhouse of world football iraq. Iraq beat the saudis in final

GROUP A

UZBEKISTAN 6 pts
CHINA P.R. 3 pts
QATAR 3 pts
KUWAIT 0 pts

The Uzbekis play China, Qatar play Kuwait.

The Uzbekis win/draw or lose by less then 3 goals they're through. China need to draw/win to get through. Qatar need to win and hope China lose, or they could draw, hope China lose and they're through, Kuwait need to win by 4 goals, hope China lose and don't score, and they can scrape in

I think that's all the scenarios

Yeah and that too :)

I think the Uzbeki/China game will be a draw, and Qatar will win.

Saudi Arabia - OUTSKI !

Jordon v Syria
= Jordon win/draw through. Jordon lose, Japan lose by a couple then they'll go through on GD.
= Syria win they're through. Syria draw, they need Japan to lose and by a couple, they're through.

Japan v Saudi Arabia
= Japan win/draw through. Lose then it'll come down to the winner of the other game. Need a couple of goals to get through on GD.

Kewell misses a relatively easy chance. Should of least made the keeper work.
Now cahill fluffs one
