well I heard about the Eastern Park and Playford game and must say if it is swept under the carpet by the way it looks then the PDCA is a joke

You cant have blokes being king hit (even if they are wearing a helmet) and then being kicked in the head when they are on the ground

They give a bloke 16 games for throwing a stump at the crowd a few years ago yet an all in brawl is to be swept away with no penalties

what makes it worse is that there was an official umpire at the game who should be told he is no longer required for his part in it all

PDCA = shambles

Surely with all the personalities and the size of the clubs that are represented on just the PDCA section of this forum a charity day/event could be organised with ALL profits to go towards the queensland flood relief?????? Obviously there is money and goods being sent to QLD from all sorts of directions but every $$$$$$ would help and any reasonable person can see this!!!

I would be more than happy to start chasing around sponsors/ovals/equipment if ANYONE from ANY comp is interesting in doing something to help our fellow Australians in this time of need.

It's unfair to bag the PDCA when all parties have kept it from them.

Sorry LM, the people at PDCA who need to know about the incident do know about it, the umpire wrote an incident report and both clubs were asked to write their report of the incident which has been done and recieved by the PDCA.

Bit hard to keep from them i would of thought with the way gossip travels...is there a investergation now? Was it a player who king hit someone or the crowd? Disgraceful effort no matter who it was and life bands should be looked at even for footy season....

OK mate, I was told that both clubs sorted it out on the day and were having some mediation this week to iron out the rest and that the umpire had agreed to remain hush about it and let the clubs deal with it.
Obviously you know more about the situation and proceedings, our B's are playing Playford this week so it would be nice to have a bit of insight into what happened.
