can't see any of them getting the chop mid season & i doubt most clubs could afford to pay out a coach anyway

Laird may go midseason.

His decision.

Much to the heartbreak of the Centrals clan.

Life at the TOP must be draining to the "Great Man"

Thankyou my Friend. :D

Dog_ger you obviously know Roy Laird and how he ticks far better than most of us.

BUT the way he spoke before the Grand Final not wanting to know who was finishing up etc. because he wanted FULL commitment, I doubt he would stop coaching the Dogs mid season as it doesnt seem to be the way he operates.

He seems to be "a mans man" and as soon as he stated he wanted to continue coaching Centrals, then nothing will change until perhaps 15 minutes after their final game which still might make him the First Coach to leave or be sacked in 2011 ;) ;)

Mark mickan and andy collins are the two possibly coaches who might get sacked in my opinon.

andy collins because he has done a great job rebuliding west for the last three years but if you can't make the finals in the fourth year after finishing 6th with a 10-10 win loss record they would be some pressure although he is contracted for season 2012.

mark mickan has bulit glenleg into a top side challenging for a premiership and if they miss the finals the board may see it has a perfect time to change coaches to start the climb back up the ladder.

I reckon Mickan hung on by the skin of his teeth after last season. Don't think he'll do that again.

mickan was contracted for this season so he wasn't going anywhere, presuming norman was contracted for this year & with sturt supposedly 'poor' could they (both teams) afford to pay either coach out anyway ?

South have a terrible record with the coaching round-a-bout, therefore my vote is for Ronnie.

Ditto for Norman.

Normo had no dramas keeping his job after last year. Not sure what you mean by this sjt. If he has a bad year this year he'll be under pressure but I very much doubt he won't still be there next year.

if the Gays are 6th or worse come mid-season, it could be bad news for Mickan but you wouldn't expect so.
