You might like to try "Helmet for my Pillow" by Robert Leckie. One of the books that inspired the other TV series "The Pacific". Also "With the Old Breed" by E.B. Sledge.

zipzap - recently read Andrew Kevin Walker's script (with revisions by Akiva Goldsman) of the unproduced Batman v Superman film from 2002.

Fat and clunky!

And what about the flakey genius of Kim Hughes?

Such a precocious talent.

Misleading test average of 37.41 doesn't do him justice.

Poor SOB probably played more tests against the West Indies at their absolute peak than any other test cricketer.

No wonder he lost the plot...
