Half true from what I've been told. Those guys that were off to the RMFL stayed, Cuttso is to play again but not Trigger. New ruckman, also a young bloke training with North will play for Lofty if not at North and I also heard White & Waite back, but remains to be seen. After probably over-achieving last year I spoke to a Dev and he's very confident about giving it a shake.
Has Eckermann left the Raiders? he was there last year wasn't he?[/quote]

Eckerman is currently overseas. Will be returning for the $tart of the $eason from what I have heard.

And if Blackwood missed out on Bowen and Wark does this mean Padroth is their number one ruckman again? He's just about ready for a good paddock if he hasn't already got one foot there already.
I also hear Lofty have hung onto those players rumoured to be going elsewhere but its come at a fair cost to the club. Nothing like your own kind holding the club to ransom, that'll breed a good culture.

Your kidding, those players you talk of are now playing for more than they were ever getting. None have offered to take pay cuts as they are more concerned with how much money they can fit in their pockets on Saturday night. Your funny... I take it your post was a joke.

What night is comedy night at Lofty? I gotta get to it, you boys are hilarious. I was told by a more than reliable source from Lofty that a certain someone has opened his wallet with the aid of the clubs funds to hang onto those players who were off elsewhere.

Have not been on for a while but Santa told me over the break a certain heathfield club owes a few bob around the place including the incorporated body. They are a mob of clowns. Believe they have recalled past people to steady the ship. A few really pissed off sponsors owed more than a few bucks. They would need to win more than a flag. Maybe another jambouree. Boy scouts or cubs ? I'll drink to that but at a different pub.

I hear Brett Backwell has not got a signature on paper yet, but TV are offering money by the truck load! Also that big Shee isn't too happy with OV after finding out what some other players are getting paid at his club!

That would come as a surprise to North Adelaide, given Backwell signed with them a fair while ago and has been at pre-season with them.

You Lebron are the most incorrect and ill informed poster on this forum. Chris Shee is the heart and soul of our playing group and does not want anthing more than success at his beloved Onkas. Unlike your club who pay the HUGE coin in the leauge and still can't get the job done we will develop our own players and add a bit of quality as we go to ensure the success we all crave. Mount Barker are the most arragant and smug club in the comp and I wish you all an ansuccessful 2011.

I understand he is the heart and soul of your club, hence why he is frustrated at your clubs decision to pay extraordinary amounts of money to worse players than him! And as far as my club goes, we have high expectations and are confident, not arrogant! Besides the Backwell comment, tell me another two occasions where I have been ill informed!

Who are clowns, exactly?
Is making money from a jamboree not your style, supercoach? Do you just sh$t money?
How come SPONSORS are owed money? The term 'sponsor' surely implies that they put money INTO the club.

Footballmad, mate just have a little think before you type because you will find lebron is just a comic. I think what lebron is poking fun at is the fact that your club offered 2 very good footballing bothers a very small amount of to play the 2011 season (hence the signing at TV) because of the onkas policy to not pay large amounts of money. Also i think he is referencing the performance an all time Mt Barker great or "heart & soul" put on last year when he found out that two new gun recruits would be getting $1600 and game Vs his $800 a game.

I assume this is just stiring the pot but i would love to here? I have a bit to do with a few of the more senior A graders at Onkas and i was thinking just the opposite. They all seem a little bit to happy and in love with each other over there and i also think that January is a bit early to be getting cocky Onkas

No one is cocky at Onkas we are realists and believe the hard work we put in preseason will reap some benefits as the season starts. The rumblings big fella are non exhistant and we are just going about the business of preparing for 2011 and trying to finish as high as we can and have a decent go in the finals. Stop trying to make crap up about our club are you all jealous of the fact that all our playing group is tight and all wanting success???????
