obviously talkin about the 2 twins Brian and Robert Montgomery, both currently playing out at Mallala (Madmax dont pull me up on the spelling of mallala if its wrong lol :-$ ). Papas believes these 2 lads are going to take craigmore into a finals contending side

F2F thats one set of twins but you have mentioned 2 twins, who are the other twins?

did i say 2 SETS of twins... or did i just say 2 twins? maybe u shud read things properly before u jump on here tryin to stir sh!t. seems papas aint the only one talking smack out at craigmore.

No you said 2 twins so if I do the maths 2 twins equals 4 not 2. Not talking "smack" just talking basic maths & english, something you obviously know nothing about.
This is hilarious.

so if i had said that papas is talking about 1 twins out at mallala wud that have more sense to u? coz it dusnt to me. brian is 1 twin... robert is 1 twin.... add them together u get two twins. that seems to me to be basic maths mate.
Now F2F if you had said a set of twins, that makes sense but you said 2 twins which makes 4 people.
Brian is 1 twin and Robert is another twin which makes a set of twins.
But who are these twins??

And is there 2 twins or 4 twins, I am getting confused..

Brian is 1 twin and Robert is another twin whick makes a set of twins.
But who are these twins??

i cant believe im argueing about this. first Madmax comes on here correcting peoples grammar... and now your coming on here. do you guys run english classes on thursday nights or somethin? coz it seems craigmore are on the war path for incorrect grammar. not that what i said was incorrect anyways... so someone obviously wasnt listening in class were they SF.

what if we were talkin about 2 gloves? does that mean 4 gloves coz theres 2 gloves in a set of gloves? or if i said 3 stumps, does that mean 9 stumps coz there if 3 stumps in each set of stumps? just like there is two twins in a set of twins. so when i say two twins i am talkin about 1 set of twins

Dont look at it as an argument look at it as a discussion on getting it right, or as you would say RITE.
2 gloves are 2 gloves or even a pair of gloves, 3 stumps are 3 stumps but dont get them mixed up with the wickets cause that is different again, lets not go there.
So you agree with me that a set of twins is 2, I think thats where the confusion started when you said 2 twins which makes 4, glad to see you agree with me F2F.

Whats the actual rule on being on the pitch prior to a game?

We have been warned twice this year for bowling on it before a game, yet on Saturday OTH batters were allowed to have throw downs on the pitch prior to playing???

It clearly makes no difference i know!

BTW - After Saturday, I wish we had the review system in place!!!

I know with Turf you are not allowed on the pitch at all prior to the game, thats obvious. With PDCA im sure that the rule would still apply even though, like you said, it makes no difference.

I think the reason that we were allowed on the weekend was the umpire.. We had him against Virginia, and like the game on the weekend he didn't really care much about the weather.. just let us play and get on with it, I believe we went back on after drinks while it was still raining which is also not allowed. I think that he just didn't enforce the rule, i have never been allowed to do that before a game in any grade or competition.

And you were out Browny, it nearly went for 4 you had that much of an edge on it ;) CHA CHING. Bet you wish you didn't tell me your money was in the bag while i was walking off for 5!

The problem there Browny is that it is done after the season so your cyber bucks become redundant.
