Good luck converting Port Magpie cheersquad members!!! Plenty of hardcore Collingwood and St. Kilda supporters in there...

Yep sure is. Play a magpies game before a collingwood v power game and watch the magpie cheersquad heckle and abuse the power all day. Would be hilarious

Some go for Adelaide or Essendon and hate what the Power have done, like stealing the history and stuff.

Unfortunately I think state footy is dead. I don't think we'll see another one imo. Hope I'm wrong though and this is just a one off.
Perhaps we could follow up the death of state footy by abolishing the states.
I have mixed feelings about it, but it would get rid of a lot of politicians, provided we didn't let the local councillors then step up and demand the status and money instead.

I always enjoyed state of origin but the AFL teams don't like it, and SANFL vs VFLjust doesn't have the same impact.

For most PAP smear games that require an SANFL game prior to prop up the Event , why not make it gold coin entry for all walk up patrons and lets really see if theres any chance that the stadium could get close to full ? Kids free and make $ on the catering ! Its one way to see if money is a major hurdle as many of us suspect .

The number of night games is a concern as some of the new players (seen here with Ron) won't be able to stay up.

there was more at the twenty/20 game last night at Adelaide Oval than you would get at a Power game.

Or an Adelaide United game at the same venue...
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Can't understand why the SANFL would have BOTH Norwood & Sturt as the Curtain Raiser Games.

Both these games could 'pull' 6K+ if played @ Adelaide Oval @ night.

Which brain surgeon came up with that idea?

As for WWTFC having the split round bye 2 years in a row... again I have to spend 3 week ends @ home with the wife!!!

If you are not a season ticket holder of norwood, it will cost you $30 to see norwood v port curtain raiser. Full tote price.
Absolute disgrace.
More reasons to sign up as full members with season tickets.
Will hurt the crowd figures, will be alot of no shows
