Why would Otten start with South ???

The kid is a gun and will get match fitness during the NAB Cup games and trials so unless hes doing a guest speaker role or working taking the money for the cars in the outer, you wont see him at Noarlunga ;) ;)

I just had this wild thought that coming back from a knee reco he may START with South. Someone from the Crows with two first names said that they played too many players in 2010 that had not fully recovered or proved themselves under match conditions.

Thats what the NAB Cup's for. Otten, unless injured in the meantime, will play for the crows in round 1.

Question marks how Lewis, Treeby, Geddes, Fitzgerald etc. recover from injuries

AFL Players we should see a lot of (* equals starting 21):
Smith*, Thompson*, Von Bertouch, Martyn, Redden, Irons

AFL Players we may see some of:
Petrenko, Salter

AFL Players unlikely to see at all:
Jacobs, Knights, Vince, Broadbent, Schulz, Stewart

Nice side Aerie .I think Raymond may fit in on the HB line .

I wouldn't have thought Geddes would be recovered in time for round 1

Well I think your right EHL but Geddes is doing SOME training.Or was pre xmas ;) .Personally I think Raymond will play HBF or Wing .He won the most improved player at his VFL club playing on the HBF.
Plus I missed this before KITE will play up forward .

He had the LARS surgery on his knee to be ready for pre-season training didn't he? Did that not pan out how they hoped?

Here is my Redleg lineup:

F Donahue Vlatko Davis
HF Jericho Rowe Terlich
C Eagleton Zorzi Gallagher
HB Pfeiffer Bown Hughes
B Fuller Georgiou KMac
R Dawe Suckling Campbell
I From - Clarke, Shenton, Bode, Grigg, Schulz...

If Aishy and Doyle can get fit they will slot in i would think.

Havent got many in the Crows and power but we should see some of Jonas, Young and Phillips.

Wouldnt think Walker, Thomas and Rodan would play at all tho.

Cheers

wouldnt expect any less would you

Interestingly, last years Centrals teams each contained around 50 odd Premierships amongst them each week.

This season we will have lost 22 Premierships between Schell, Richard Cochrane, McKenzie and Switala, but our likely starting line-up still contains 54!

As in Jesse Aish? If so, you guys are in trouble. Far from a league standard player IMHO. Div 3 ammos probably about right for him.

PeterC, just a few comments to add to your team:

Doyle has sustained further injury and the word is that he will not be playing in 2011 season
Would think the Power will take a longer term recovery view on D-rod this year and we may see him for the first half of 2011

Cheers

Mate i have seen every one of his games and the lad can play!!

He just needs to get his body right, he has hardly played in the last 2 years and when he did he struggled for fitness.

F: Bennett, Brad Fisher , F Caruso
HF: Beech, Ferguson, Fielke
C: Piasente, N Caruso, MaCreadie
HB: Green, A Hartlett, Ben Fisher
B: Bricknell, Silvester, Caire
R: Willits, Birss, Ezard
INT: Borholm, Rankine, G Rowe

Our side is tough to pick as we will no doubt be relying (and seeing) on alot AFL players to get us through the year including Moran, Lobbe, Davenport, Pettigrew, Webb and Schmidt.
