AU 268
EG 0/73 [16]
STRAUSS 49*[45] brilliant batting, now made the runs he cost his team as the skipper today
COOK 19*[49]

What have we to look forward to after Tea
Will it be BEER and SMITH in tandem ?
Fancy playing 2 unproven spinners and your 12th man is one of worlds best performed bowlers
Terrible bowling selections this test
The last time AU won a Test match v EG we played 4 quicks

Ironically this is a very similar scoreline to the Perth Test
So we need the one test 2010 wonder to lift AU off the canvass, as he did in perth
I was confident MJ could in Perth, this time around Im sitting on the fence

I'm assuming Mal is talking about the Rug...?

Is he fit enough to play...? Or would Australia need to bowl England out within 50 overs or he would "hit the wall"...

Surely if you're going to be "one of worlds best performed bowlers" you need to be fit...

IMHO

The rug is to busy filming all his commercials. Not one of the best performed bowlers in the world by an stretch and I highly doubt he would be doing much different to the current attack.

MAL - You've been told comedy isn't your strongest point

KP off the mark with a nice boundary, 104/2 now

Question for all, seeing as Punter has a fair say in selection when playing as skipper, do you think he would have had a fair say in selection for this test (being out injured)? Or would Pup have had a bit of a say (or none)?
