Morphettville Park v Western Youth Centre ( western youth to win easy Morphies no batsmen )
South Road v Westminster Old Scholars ( Westminster too strong South rd have no batsmen and 1 bowler )
Plympton Footballers v Keswick ( Keswick to win easy Plympton no batsmen )
Sheidow Park v Cove ( game of the round Cove will win though )
Glenelg ANA v ICC Sharks ( Close game but i think Glenelg will win just )
Coromandel v Coromandel Ramblers ( The team that Lourens plays for will win always get them mixed up )

From the games that I have seen Coromandel play this year (I have seen all team play at least once) Lourens is a very good bowler and will trouble most if not every batsman in the comp. But not all of his wickets have been from outstanding deliveries, he has to thanks some of the other bowlers for his wickets, they have some other handy bowlers in the team, such as Bruce, who when he bowls a consistent line and length, troubles batsmen every ball, also that young leg spinner (can’t remember name) looked decent, and along with others such Moore, Cheek *when fit* and Koirala bowling some leggies, they are a very dangerous line up and are not to be underestimated. They keep the pressure on at both ends and Lourens is the lucky one who has happened to take most of the wickets.

Also I wouldn’t underestimate there batting line up, they are all very good stroke makers and on there day will cart any bowling attack to all parts of the ground, they just need to be patient and stick it out, and the runs will come. I wouldn’t like to be the fielding team when that happens.

But I have to say that the Coromandel vs. Coro Ramblers game will be very close one Caleb; the outcome of the game will depend on if Coromandel batting clicks and makes a few runs against a very good bowling line-up in Stanley, Blesing, Calderbank and others. And if they then bowl tight and hold there catches, who knows will win.
But my prediction is Coromandel by a whisker, due to home ground advantage.

As for the other games –

Morphettville Park v Western Youth Centre (WYC to win, because they have to many good players)
South Road v Westminster Old Scholars (South Road to win, in a battle of the cellar-dwellers)
Plympton Footballers v Keswick (Keswick to win, comfortably and get there season back on track)
Sheidow Park v Cove (Cove to win, in a fiery local derby)
Glenelg ANA v ICC Sharks (Any team could win, but I’m going for Glenelg just)

Well if you've seen every team play I'd suggest you are an umpire and it wouldn't be too hard to work out who has umpired every team. CK usually has time for things like that...

I hope you are right DH, because the way we are going we need them to have no batsmen as we can't make a run ourselves.

South Rd will defeat WOS easily i feel.

Keswick in a close one.

Sheidow's spinners will decide the outcome of this game, they bowl well they are a good chance.

I think the sharks will win this one.

I think Koirala and Cheek are the keys to his game they both must make runs for Coro to be a chance. Cheek is due for a big score so i will tip Coro.

Morphettville Park v Western Youth Centre (if Morphies can make runs against a good tight bowling line up then I this game will be alot closer than some think)
South Road v Westminster Old Scholars (Westminster should bounce back hard)
Plympton Footballers v Keswick (Keswicks batsmen due to fire and make a big score)
Sheidow Park v Cove (If Sheidows bowlers bowl tight and restrict Cove to a low score then I think they are a big chance to cause the upset of the round)
Glenelg ANA v ICC Sharks (Glenelg ANA seem too much of a disciplined and tight bowling and fielding side)
Coromandel v Coromandel Ramblers (Should be a very close and hard fought contest for the Magarey-Benson Trophy)

Congratulations to Danny Miller, certainly a great effort from a highly respected member of the A&SCA. A special mention must also go to Coromandel Cricket Clubs Peter Zacpal who plays his 400th game this week. A sensational achievement from the Silver Fox, not only a top bloke but a great club man who is held in very high regard both within his club and around the competition. Congratulations again Zaccy, well done mate!!

While all the focus from now till the end of the season is on the top four when you look at the bottom end it looks a very sad story (for some) for a once great proud club. There is a real possiblity that at the end of this rounds matches PFCC could be bottom and in a fight for relegation.

A great club that year after year always competed for finals and every other club hated to play against has now become a laughing stock who everyone wants to play. Maybe harsh but true. Off field egos have shot this club in the foot !

Let's just hope Westminister are very very average cause i never thought i'd see the day PFCC competing in section 2 .
