I think you might find mal that they weren't using the referral system in this particular match. It does surprise me why some tests use it and others don't.

BOUCHER facing KHAN
BOUCHERS pushes at a delivery outside off stump, and is struck on the pad, appeared as if BOUCHER had the bat behind the pad, and may have been avoiding in playing a shot
HOWZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZAT
Dopey appeal by the Indians
Umpire Davis raises his finger, what the....
BOUCHER is given out LBW, walks off in seemingly disbelief
NO UMPIRE REFERRAL TO CHECK TO SEE IF THERE WAS A NO BALL
Replays show that it was missing off stump by about 4-6 inches
Did this decision also cost SA this test match ?

LIGHTNING MC on the ball, no player referrals in this series, as stated after this disMissAL

So we have 2 batters robbed in a row

To add further salt to the wound, Steyn cannoned a ball into Khan's pads bang in front of middle stump, he did hit the ground which gave a double noise effect but nevertheless was absolutely plumb and Davis gave him not out.
Steyn and Smith couldn't believe it, what I found bizarra was that Steyn was replaced by Kallis two overs later.

HARRIS facing KHAN
HARRIS jams down on a yorker it appears to be inside edged onto the boot and into a catch at short leg
The Indians appeal
Is he out ?
Davis and Raul confer
They call for an umpires 3rd umpire reveiw
Replays show conclusively that the ball was edged into the ground and not the boot
Not Out
The Umpire referal system is vindicated this time
HOWEVER NO REVIEW TO SEE IF IT WAS A NO BALL

Another dreadfull decision
Why didnt the umps make a referral ?
They did for the HARRIS decision

PRINCE hits a ball to deep sqaure
SINGH feilds the ball well
Umps call for a review to see if SINGH had part of his body touching the rope
This review for 2 runs
Ends up being 2 runs
Yet BOUCHER + AB get robbed with LBW desicions

There were soms dreadful decisions this test, highlighting the need for the referral system.

Boucher's was an out and out shocker. That LBW with Steyn bowling was the most plumb LBW I've ever seen. And de Villiers' decision was probably incorrect, but there's no way it was bouncing as much as Hawkeye suggested. I could've seen it maybe just going over due to AB's big stride, but it certainly wasn't going over by that much.

MORKEL facing SHARMA
outside off stump MORKEL fends and caught at gully
NOT OUT called a no ball
Replays show that SHARMA was probabaly a bees knee over the line
WHY DIDNT THE UMPIRE CALL FOR A REVIEW TO SEE IF THIS WAS A NO BALL
After all they call for reviews on close ones when the batters get out

There's no referrals in this series because India refuse to use the system.

2 Tests , 2 decks unSUBcontinenet like
The Indian batters with thier over inflated Test batting averages had a chance to show the whole wide world how good they are
Heres the progress with 1 test to go

00-63-25-32 SHEWAG
05-80 GAMBHIR
14-43-25-02 DRAVID
36-111*-13-06 TENDULKAR
07-08-38-96 LAXMAN
01-05 RAINA
19-09 VIJAY
19-10 PUJARA

Only the champ is averaging over 50

The hard working Indian bowlers appreciated bowling in the 2nd Test
At last thier fast bowlers had conditions that assisted them
Khan and Sreesanth would love these conditions back at home

Against arguably the best bowling attack in the world on their home deck. The Indian's flogged us, we batted on the same roads and couldn't compete.

SA 8/289
2nd best batting allrounder Ive ever seen 103 *[219]
SREESANTH 5/97[26] If Little Richard was playing for AU/SA/EG could have been a even better bowler

That 35 year old superstar Sir Jaques Kallis has scored another ton
56 average is awesome, considering he dosent play on as many roads as Tendulkar and his colleagues
