Will Ferrell and Adam McKay are heavily involved.

Having now checked out my regions tv listings for Xmas and New Year I'm seriously thinking of dusting off the first 7 series of Stargate-SG1 plus the original film (all I got) and starting from the beginning and working my way through. Never have I seen such a carp tv selection...several hours of Col Jack O'Neil's sarcasm is much preferred.

Generation Kill

From the creators of The Wire

"Not for the faint-hearted, this 7 hour mini-series spotlights Marines fighting in the Iraq war during the early onset of the conflict.
Marines prepare to invade Iraq at the beginning of Operation Iraqi Freedom; while the soldiers wait to recieve their orders they learn a Rolling Stones columnist will be imbedded with them."
