16 yo son had a party. Had to stay up to 1:30 & go pick him up. Mrs Fatty in bed by 10! Only excitement was spending 30mins settling dog after the midnight fireworks.

Are the Adelaide suburbs full of backyard fire-works displays as there is here in Brisbane? Had about three houses within stubby throwing range letting off fireworks last night which spooked the mutt.

I spent New Years in the City with a group of mates, guys and girls. It was a great night, very memorable and f**k I got drunk, I was pissed as a fart. :D

I was surprised though, there wasn't as many people in the city as I thought there would be. I was kind of worried about how busy and dangerous it could be on NYE and my best mate was very concerned about any trouble so he didn't go up. Personally I felt really safe walking down Hindley St, especially with all the extra police walking around. There were no idiots where we went that could of ruined the night and it seemed like eveyone had a good night, which was good to see.
