No disrespect to Angle Vale but if thats true their results have been very, very disappointing.

Might be just this year they are looking to pay players then?

I don't believe they have in the past but I'm aware of a couple of players that have been offered decent coin to go out there. Good on them if they have the money to do so.

This is correct the great man will be going around again...we need his blonde golden locks flowing in the wind so we know which way the breeze is going.

The Mozzies aren't starting pre-season until Feb I hear?

Fair enough they have issues with burnout but could this be leaving it a bit late?
Don't play games with a girl who can play 'em better...

You are correct we start up Tuesday 1st February.

This is to combat the burnout, players losing interest and injury issues we've had in previous years later in the season...Is it a bit late? :-?? Ask me again in August/September.

Agree Ridler. To be honest some starting times of SAAFL pre seasons is ridiculous. AFL clubs start when they do because they start playing games in February and finish in October. They also have 42 players plus rookies to chose 1 team from and have state of the art training, playing and medical facilities.
So it makes complete sence to start preseason as an amateur sometimes 5 months before round 1 :? .
Prime examples of clubs who start their preseasons late January/early February are Willunga who get flogged from day 1, but do not start until February.
I don't mind beginning mid January but before Xmas is pure madness imho.
Can you bring a man to his feet when defeat is on repeat?

Hmm i think also that Willunga had won 6 flags in a row, could have been 7 but for a missed shot on the final siren. ;)

LK we have a catch up pre xmas. Tell players to do some work themselves as we dont want to take 5 weeks of the 11 weeks getting them up to speed. After that when we start late Jan its full throttle

Was a toss up between the mozzies and a club down near Victor Harbor the last time I heard in early December. Good pick up for the mozzies if true, which seems likely

Did you hear any mention of the Adel. Plains club that were supposed to have offered him fair $$'s?
He's good mates with another ex Div 1 player, an on baller who I'm told is mates with the ML coach, any chance him going there also?

+ Bobridge and Fuller from Century. Mumford back from Athelstone. Riddler has been rampin it up! Its taken a little while but I think the heat def needs to switch back to the Mozzies! Enjoy it boys, though you are used to it :)

So have I bud. His absence is the reason the Units were unable to win the GF though, just ask him :)

Ego far exceeds ability! I've heard whispers he isn't leaving CU so much as he is being given marching orders..

Seems the bloke thinks he is Wayne Carey if you get my drift...

with all the debate on the recruiting of players and so on,im really interested in the glenunga team and their coach.from a coaching point of view the young man leading this team is getting a good squad together with many believing they are the ones to beat.im interested in how this years results go and how they can and will effect his coaching career.alot of pressure will be placed on chad in only his second year of coaching, with anything but a premiership going to cause the knives and bagging coming out.hopefully he has got someone very good behind him helping in his progress.it can go either way with chad being rembered for coaching a great squad of players and their for getting the results that are expected or doing nothing and their for dampening a bright carreer.would like to hear tired tigers view as he is one of the few coaches that i have come across that not only says it as it is but has some great views and thoughts on the game
we stand as one
we fight as one
we win and lose as one
we are one
