what attitude exactly ?

All we see is a guy training with an afl side, that comes into the afl and looks more than servicable, but for some reason a guy who isn't getting a look in in a lesser side. Any idea the reason ?

Totally agree TC I have watched mitch at AFL level on the TV .But once he gets dropped he loses all interest playing at the lower level.Hell I watch the seconds and league games from start to finish .I have seen Mitch get beaten by seconds players that couldn't get a kick in a boot factory.
Thats what we see at SANFL level.
Two names both dropped by choco last year Banner and Schulz .
Schulz first training run back home at the Eagles you could see he was shall we say not amused at being dropped .cica talks to him for 20 mins or so .attitude changes and he plays well for his old SANFL club gets recalled rest is history .
Banner well at times he would roll up do what he needed to but no more.
I could go on how about other young power players .How about Redden he was always early to Friday night training .Him and his young Eagles mates do goal kicking for 40 or so minutes before training starts.
So what about Mitch he'd roll up in street clothes(not always but more often than not) and talk to the coach .
And before you all say hard training not allowed to train .Others would roll up and do goal kicking with mates then go off get changed and watch training .
Lets not just blame mitch sometimes a former now delisted Crow would do the same .

And the difference between Mitch Banner and a returning Crow .Crow player has a problem first game back after that they get the pace of the sanfl ,banner never seemed to try .

PS
I dont care if they are Power or Crows once they put the TRI COLOURS on they are Eagles no matter home grown or picked up in the SANFL mini draft

Luke Nitscke is an out for the Redlegs.
Playing in the hills.
Good team player who could not nail down a regular spot. Sad to see him go.

A genuine question SDK.

Why is it sad to see a player that cant make it in League ranks, move on ?
- I would have thought it frees up a spot for a youngster to get a crack and most if not all clubs would take the same attitude.

Nita was a good club man mate and has forged some strong friendships with teammates from the junior levels through .. He's earnt the respect of most if not all Norwood people, so it's always sad to see someone like that move on.

No doubt it's the right decision for Nita though I would think.

Agreed!!

Nitta was probably never in the best 22 at any time but usually filled whatever holes he was needed in.

A good team player!!

Nita always gave 100% at League Level and seconds.
I liked him as a player and I liked him as a man.
Why would I not be sad to see him go ?
Maybe some of you people who follow shit clubs don't understand that but at Norwood we respect ANY player who was good enough to wear a Norwood jumper. That is an honour.

Good luck Nita !

SDK give us a spell with the "its an honour to wear the guernsey" crap

All I was getting at is that those type of players even if they're great team men, only have a limited time span of a few years on any League list.

Geez - lots of Rip Van Winkkes at the Parade these days. Win a flag or at least back it up with GF appearance in 2011 then you might be able to make a claim about being "back". You forget where your club was prior to 2010 yet you dish it out re where we are at? On field we need to rebuild but should we compare off field if you are happy to compare - we are miles ahead there!

Firstly we don't know who you barrack for and secondly I doubt you are miles ahead, NFC posted a profit this year and our long term future is well and truly secure!

It makes no difference if you know or not.

Norwood were unusually competitive in 2010. Brace yourself for a reality check in 2011.

I would have thought the part I've highlighted would have made it pretty obvious who he supports considering the first statement is talking about Norf.
