I diagree Valleys, I reckon we'll go alright in the world cup, let's not forget we still have a very good One Day record, compared to our recent test record, which isn't very good at all.

not sure there knighter, losing that series at home to sri lanka shows where aus cricket is at. If we cant beat the lankans on our home soil we have no hope of matching it with the saffers and india. England are on their way up in the one day scheme of things and i see us exiting in the quarter finals

Breaking a fine drill bit drilling a screw hole in a metal angle piece and having the remaining shaft go through my left thumb!
Fortunately it bounced off the edge of the nail and just pinned the skin to the bench.
After a few choice words, and stopping the bleeding, I decided I'd better go out and get a vice that can hold small objects in the New Year.
I'd gotten away with just holding them on the edge of the bench with my fingers well out of the way [I thought] for some time...

I've gone through dozens of fine drill bits in the last few years, after having a few that lasted several years each prior to that. Cheap imports becoming the norm rather than the exception to blame here I presume.

People who drive in the right lane under the speed limit right next to someone in the left lane who is doing the same speed and driving by the law. And then this person in the right lane speeds up when the car in the left lanes drives at the speed limit or when the right laned driver passes the left lane driver then pull into the left lane when clear and takes off to the speed limit or even speed above the limit. This can be very annoying and god you have to love the look this person gives you when you pass them.

I was following 2 cars doing this with a policecar trying to get past and when the right hand lane driver moved over the police car turned his lights on and pulled him over.

up here in queensland if you are caught you get a $230 dollar fine and lose 3 demerit points doing this.
