Franks will be at the Panthers next year, was not happy at Berri in the last part of the year, might have been a couple heated exchanges with the senior coach at demon land

Or just never rocked up to scheduled meetings. Lol. The thing with Franks in 2010 was he has injured or unfit. All of a sudden he's shed half his body weight and looks a million bucks. Which is what Loxton North have offered him. Lol

Amazing how the past two premiership teams have disintegrated.
It's true what they say about in the lead up to GFs - "you'll never play with this exact same bunch of blokes again".

Has Loxton North thrown a wad of cash to get Franks DW? Heard the Panthers were keen to secure his services and have succeeded.
Also, the bigger question, will Berri colts cult hero Callum Trifonoff follow him across to windy hill?

$450 a game plus $25 a goal is what I have heard & thats for Trifonoff.

Trifs celebrations are worth 25 bucks alone

Maybe someone should ask Berri the reason of the unrest with Franks. Bigger than any off you know.

Franks just made Berri FC look like idiots.

Not Kidding. Berri glad to see the back of him.

Failed to make any sort of impact even at B grade level in the second half of 2010.
I'm sure Berri would love to have seen him get fit, harden up a little and have a big season in 2011.
Instead he has decided to move on. Good luck to him.

I wouldn't say any sort of impact in the B grade. He had at least one good game against us.
Can't speak for other games though.

Let's hope he's got over whatever issues resulted in the eventuality of him leaving Berri.

Yeah true DW, he had a reasonable game that day. But that was one of the highlights I can assure you.
I would suggest that if he has got over those issues he would be more than welcome at Berri.
I reckon he has a lot more to offer than what he served up last year.

I think people have got to stop treating Franks going to North like a real AFL move. He's a country player wanting a kick. You don't know anything about him, he's a good kid and I hope he kicks a bag against the Dees next year. He was leading goalkicker when he was dropped. Sorry, how does that make sense? You drop someone when they are still kicking goals. Even if you are accused of making 'little effort' (which he wouldn't), is that something to warrant him losing his place? Like hell, usually a coach would tell him to get his head in the game, not fully cut him from the side. Really, no one should be taking his move to North as a terrible thing he hasn't betrayed or upset anyone, so Berri need to get over it. He's at a club who will love him and eventually he will love too

Not to inflame he situation El Lupo, but his efforts against genuine opposition were of substandard compared to what the club expected of him. I was a big fan of his, I actually put my hand up and said: yeah, we want him back for 2010 at the end of 2009. There's nothing wrong with Geordie as a person, and he wasn't the victim here. Rod told him, he couldn't give a crap how many goals he kicked. It was the effort and work rate he wanted to see and unfortunately Geordie never showed it. Until now, where his pride has been dented and missing a premiership winning team he should have been in has spurred him back into action. Don't come on here and tell me what I do and don't know.

Wasn't talking about you OnSong, just relax okay. I was more directing that at the people who said they were glad to see the back of him and were just plain dissing him . When people say stuff about one of your childhood mates, you do tend to come to their defence and that is just what I was doing. Whatever the situation was, I'm fair sure he didn't deserve to miss out on a premiership medal and that many A grade games

I don't think any Berri people said they were glad to see the back of him. He has made his mind up and has moved on so good luck to him. Don't put it back on Berri because he didn't win a premiership. He didn't play in that premiership team for a reason. He always did well against Loxton North so they would be happy that they got him. End of story. Stop making comments too El Lupo (Geordie)
So you've seen everything have you?
Yep

From what I've read, those people that are out and out Berri have wished him all the best. You've come to your conclusion from one post, which if you were indeed referring to, you should have made that clear. At the end of the day, he has made his decision, applied himself to his training and I will tip his form will improve drastically. It's what was asked of him last year really. But good on him. Now is his time to prove his critics wrong.

Looks like Jake Bowen will be playing at Tailem Bend instead of Barmera next season ?
