Ringing radio stations for requests, and they would actually play them. 5KA, and then KA-FM, must have gotten sick of me after a while. Mind you, I did win - twice - their Friday night competition, which was 20 singles from CC Records in Rundle Mall, of my choice. :)

Hearing Party Town every Friday morning on SAFM

I got sick of my job
Sick of my life
Sick of my futre
and sick of my wife

Packed up my bags
and I got some Gas
Told Everybody they can kiss my ass

I'm gonna party town
yeah yea
I'm gonna party down
yeah
gonna have some fun
gonna fool around
right here in party town...

Sun goes up
Sun goes down
doesn't really matter in Party Town
We go all day
and we go all night
we keep on going till we get right

chorus x 2
RIP my DH 1964 - 2009 - You were one of the best and I miss you

"That's my Pi!" (one of the few times Ted McGinley participated in something without killing it)

Going to Hindley Cinema at the end of each school term with the rest of the blokes (and some ladies) to see the latest flick. That got brought back to me today when going to Big W and finding a copy of "Cocktail" on sale for $5.87 - the memories that flick brings back for a young bloke, on a first date...
