Media Park would be the prefect guy to come in and clean the place up.

I have to agree panther ..... thanks MP .... but no thanks.

Thinking outside the square, why couldn't we 'employ' a president?? Maybe offer $10-$15k pa. This might spark some interest from an old footballer who has retired from work and could do with a bit of extra cash.

We could also include in his contract that they need to 'raise' their own wage by bringing in new sponsorship (or other income). Maybe offer bonus' s for higher profits etc etc. I've seen the leagues financial details and i believe they could make a lot more money than they presently do. (and that would include leaving the admission price alone).

If the position was a 'paid' role, the accountability would be a lot greater and perhaps the leagues financial details would be more transparent.

Might have the renumeration a bit high but def a great idea

I asked the question on here, after having written, but not having sent, a certain e-mail, because the opinions of a few guys on here are important to me.

Having said that, I can confirm here first, that, now having sent the e-mail, there is at least one application for PLFL president.

I mightn't be great, but I am superior to Dirty Harry... ;)

Christian Dorward back for the Tigers. Great to get a key position player nailed down, no doubt Dorza will make most CHF's earn their keep, a great player!!

Does PL footy really need the Tigers, after last years efforts I'd say no. It's a bye anyway, might as well just call the day off and go fishing!![/quote]

Souths won A's and B's easily.

Jethro Schilling opened the bowling for Souths twos (they played Tasman), and first three balls were a hat trick.

Big money at the Tigers $5000 to sign up if you are good enough.
Particularly if you played Mortlock last year and went to KI.
I wonder if the boys playing there currently are going to get the same :)

What would Dorward be on a game at bostons? He knocked back a rather large offer from a GFFL club by all reports.

Any news on the PLFL presidency debacle? Ken Whelan Fan your name is being thrown around.
