Probably worth contacting NFC JAS, I dare say even now they would have a draft in their hands and might be able to give you some idea, even if not a guarantee

Serious question to WAFC fans.

What would be your thoughts if Ryan Ferguson did a season ending knee injury in the last quarter of a game against Labrador up at the GABBA.

My thoughts would be to immediately try to find out what a knee ending injury was.

Maybe he shouldnt cross the road tomorrow either cos he could get hit by a car and get a season ending injury!!!! Point is injuries can happen at anytime, where do u draw the line, not have your top players train as much, not play any trial games at all!! Posters say we should have a state game instead so do we not play our best players in that as they may get injured.....unfortunately injuries are part of the game and can happen at anytime.

They also both had the worst game plans for the last 2 years.
Coincidence or not?

I've read some crap on this site but he inference that clubs that make the finals in one specific year (or 2 or 3) are "smarter" than others takes the cake easily.

A bit like you grouping North in with Port to count premierships , as if North are in Port's league.

13 flags and not taking the easy way out when times get hard means we're way out of your league sunshine. ;)
North and Port are both in double figures, its more than I can say for any of your 3 clubs.

It was mentioned earlier in the thread what the opinion was in WA of the national comp: the Perth footy club had their christmas bash tonight and I was asking a couple of players what they thought of the concept. They didn't even know about it, which kind of suggests the profile it has over here.
It's all the SANFL's fault.

Worse than ours?

Who said you cant rest players etc if they need to have the week off. Posters have been pondering an interstate comp for some time, along it comes (yes rushed and with not as much detail initially as one would like) and now many are finding reasons not to do it.

A trip to Docklands, SCG etc to see youre own club play in front of a lot of fans would instill pride in the playing group and the too often neglected supporters.

Good luck to both North and West and to the third club.

Perhaps you could sum together Sturt and Norwood's premierhips compared with North and West's and see how your populated theory stacks up.

Yep trying to wrestle the title from the dogs is a much bigger priority than playing a bunch of scrubbers.
Our u18's would wipe the floor with half the sides in this comp.

Apparently Not.

Its now all about the Murdoch Cup and the huge financial rewards and accolades from winning it.

Who will sponsor your club in the competition then? the afl wasnt going to allow some of the clubs with conflicting sponsors to wear their jumper with their logos. If i was a sponsor and that wasnt going to happen, i would be spewing.
