England were too good.
Pathetic by Australia. We pick Watson for a final who hasn't played much cricket lately and he was absolutely shite. Our batting at the end of our innings was shocking, terrible collapse.

given our start the Aussies were pathetic

on Watson, the australian selectors have given this guy the biggest free ride of any cricketer in the past 25 years

I love hindsight!! nah well done england too good, plan and simple, australia need to lift their game to englands level now, too many mistakes in the field and some terrible batting at the end of our innings. Paul Collingwood wants warneys phone number...oh no dont worry his missus has got it!

EG 6/253
COLLINGWOOD 120*[133]
RIXON 11*[10]

THATS ONE OF THE GREATEST PRESSURE INNINGS YOU WILL EVER SEE.
COLLINGWOOD works to the absolute best of his ability.
Special mention to PAUL MOTORMOUTH RIXON who has ignited these
spineless wimps into a purposeful team.
THERE IS NO DOUBT THAT BIG MOUTH OF IS HAS UNSETTLED THE AUSSIES.

This EG team has been amazing the last 2 games.

V NZ

EG were 3/50 off about 18 overs and got to 270 great effort
NZ were 0/60 off about 8 overs and 3/20O and cruising
EG fought back twice and win a cut throat last game too qualify

v AU

AU were 1/170[30] and on the way to 350 and out for 252
EG 3/15 early and gone get up to 6/253

4 times they have been beaten but they keep fighting back.

Well this series is alive and hmn.....

WATSON who has taken wickets and made runs in the past could not
replicate his pre injury form tonight, AU need thier star allrounder to find form.

ROY we miss him, AH was right we will struggle without him.

McGrath has to go. I cannot believe the most dangerous fast bowler in the world cannot get a game before a washed up former great. I don't often knock the selectors but they need to take a long hard look at themselves, forget emotion, and pick the best team. That is why Australia lost this game.

I could not believe it when McGrath dropped an absolute sitter, then you see Ponting with a big grin on his face. If that had been Tait or Johnson who dropped it, I bet Ponting would have been fuming. McGrath's had it .. time for new blood.

Just on England, they are a happy team. They have been since a certain arrogant person returned home. Coincidence? I think not.
