Ha ha, Jordie Mandemaker.......surely this is a wind up?

This is the same Jordan who has played at Blackwood for a while now I thought, after a stint at Flaggies and Ironbank juniors?

You are talking about the skinny little ginger kid who cant be more than 19 years old aren't you. :?

He has been playing in West Adelaide U18s for past couple of years. Played in the losing gf.
Yes he did play in Flagstaff U16 premiership team before heading to West but got a clearance to Blackwood when his Dad started coaching there.

depending how much of this is true, SURELY Blackwood would have to be near max points?
I'd imagine Thomas would go back to uris, he was at Balhannah with some of them when they knocked off Lofty.

well so far they have recruited Dundovic, who played juniors up at Blackwood, so he's 0 points, and Mandermaker is also worth 0 because he's also played juniors at Blackwood. And from what I heard, Thomas was a training last Wednesday getting his photo taken with the club president and has signed.
And if it's true that players that have played 25 senior games at a club are zero points, Blackwood would have plenty of points to play with.

Matt Thomas is a definate signing for Blackwood, as per the club email that was sent out yesterday that announced he's signed on for 4 years with the club.

No you can't carey, not on a community football board contract and any other contract would not be binding in any way. I don't think any player worth his salt would sign a 4 year contract of any kind at grassroots level.

from what I heard at the AGM, they have plenty of money (200k+) in the bank.

Good to see your not denying that Dundovic is on $1400 a game. Wow... $200k+ that's great, and when was Blackwoods last A grade flag???
I also hear Blackwood only had 10-15 players out for the pre season sessions before xmas. Is this signs of a side getting old and not wanting to train so early or is there a genuine excuse?

This is the Matt Thomas that played for Uraidla, Sturt, Norwood, Unley and for the last 2 years he has played at South Clare.

A lot of talk about Blackwood about now. I understand they have some recruits, but their recruits aren't young, except for a potential hack, and their original list isn't young. Their best player won't play much next year and their old full forward is unlikely to play A's.

Sorry, but all this talk about a side who won't make top 4 next year!
