I think the gap between PV and the rest looks to be narrowing, and i think the gap between NEK and the rest is smaller still.
Open race, liking the way Fitzroy are coming along, look to have more vareity/depth in their line up than NEK, and i think with a few going away to Sydney (hopefully) they will come back better cricketers and turn it on in the 2nd half.

I think Timmy Hodson is the stand out player in the comp so far this year, barely ahead of Balding. Both are capable of taking a game away from you in the blink of an eye but its a scary thought for sides if Hodson is opening the batting and tearing you open from the start, then you have to try and recover and he has set the foundation for the rest of the side.

Rose Park look to be improving and would almost have them on even par with AL. Ross Smith look miles out of their depth, but hopefully can be competitive after the break.

I think Spry is the big improver this year, after a good break out year he went quite last year and seemed to struggle but this year looks to have rediscovered that magic - might be due to his "special" (didnt say retarted trippsta) running style :D

Jon Smith i think wants to be the guy who gets the most runs in div 1 AND the most ducks

I'll attempt one for us.

We're 3-3 at the moment. Sitting 3rd.

We've got a reasonably young team this season, but we're doing better than expected at the halfway mark imo..

Loechel is having a great year with the bat. 'Hollywood' is starting to hit form after a slow start. Auto just keeps on doing his thing.
Everyone is chipping in with the ball, which is great.

Plenty of good signs going into the second half of the season, where hopefully we can secure a spot in the top 4 and play finals.

Think your overplaying my contribution mate!

Nope from what ive heard Enfield will be joining Kilburn. Kilburn will then go to 5 sides, 2 of which will play in the PDCA.

As for Rose Parks, i think theyre a genuine chance to make the top five. With Reidy and Cougar able to build some big innings and the rest of the slappers in between they should have no probs building some big scores. Bowling however is theyre downfall. They need a quick to support Clarkey.

Sounds like Enfields too many chiefs in the background and not enough indians in the foreground policy has finally knackered the club then.

Know the bloke you mean, is way to inconsistent to be a geniune threat IMO. 1 good ball mixed in with four or five hitable balls. Reminds me of my bowling without the good ball ;)
