Spelly, IF the 3 lads play together in the same team next year (assuming the other 2 Fisher's stay with the club) will this be a first in league history to have 3 players with the same initial and spelling of surname to play alongside each other?

It's what makes them "such a great club" - not the fact that they have won one premiership in the past 50 years.

Heard on the grapevine that the bloods were certainties to get back eagleton and he didnt go to norwood 100% on the basis on wanting to go to a side with chance of a flag in the last couple years. May have had something to do with the club offering him peanuts thinking he will sign being the loyal bloke everyone knows he is ???

Perhaps they made an offer they thought was fair for a 32 year old returning to the SANFL, just as they might have done with Scott Welsh the year before.

Well done to them on signing Brad Fisher, without doubt a major coup.

We finally sign someone and we are paying him too much because i am sure everyone knows the details of his contract  .

Or of many of the other contracts he was offered .. Paints a fair picture.

Anyway, thats all irrelevant, the only ones that ever complain are those that missed out .. Ultra well played by the Bloods - If he really invests himself into the club and competition it's hard to not see him being an elite star of the SANFL.

Not a bad pick up by Westies. Seems a lot of Westies blokes have seen a bit of Fish by the way they speak of him.

Can be lazy, hasn't got the biggest kick and isn't overly mobile, but has a lovely mark, and accurate kick from not too far out.

Hope he goes alright.

may well be right there redandblack. For me i woulda thought he still be very handy pick up .... still has leg speed long penetrating kick that will do damage at this level. And his body seems to be reasonable. Will be very handy in the legs outfit thats for sure.

Diregard, just looked it up. 8 games in the last 2 years at a powerhouse like Carlton is very impressive!

The East Burswood forum has gone into meltdown over the fact he didn't go back to his original club.
