Just a question, read a few pages back the association team will have training again for the next game, is it still open invite and is it only for grade 1? Not saying i could make the team but wouldnt mind training even just to have that experience, get to know a few lads behind the scenes. Thaks

Just turned 16 year old Ian Williamson backed up last weeks 60 odd and 4 wickets with a 100 coming in at 1 for 5.

If theres a better all round cricketer at 16 i havent seen him yet, big call i know.

Also was great to see Addo McCafferty hit 40 odd opening the innings again and little DJ taking a 4 for again.

Ian has a very sound technique and also bowls with decent pace. If he can stay focused on his cricket he will be very very good in 3-4 years.

Top of the table mate 1 game out of the chrissy break, must be thinking Grade 2 is just around the corner if things stay on track.

Mate is Craigmore on their annual mid-season break again? Every year they dominate at the start and fall away in the middle. With the Lodge going and probably only 1 spot up for grabs for Grade 1 next year, you guys would be desperate to get that spot off the Units who are travelling along very nicely.

If I was as good as him I would sledge everyone as well, especially if I was a quick bowler. The guy has serious talent which means he can back up his trash on the field.

Wow......triangular warfare with a few fiery words over the past day or two.
Seems to be no love loss between a certain Sals West supporter and a couple of the R & C lads on here.

You would think so. We just got the raw end of the stick with alot of across the line batting and getting away with it. No credit taken away we had them 4/62 at 20 overs then the rain came our ball turned to soap and we couldnt deliver. But they are by no means doing it easy. 2 dayer will be very different. They have an outright against ATCO aswell which we havent played yet so we will see what happens. I wouldnt read into it too early cricket is a funny game and the season is well and truly not over.

Absolutely, and not much doubt in my mind he is one of if not the best allrounder in the comp. I do respect his loyalty to Sals West however.
