Don't forget tomorrow's SAMCA match vs PDCA guys. All welcome. EJ Smith Reserve (Greenacres Footy Oval), match starts at 10am. 8)

What a star!
Is that 22 Wickets in 6 games now Smasha?
Got another 8 in you tomorrow? ;)

Bored with another 4fa.. Nice work!

Great win by Fitzroy today. Good to see 987643 year old John Lucas take 4fa, as well as Tyson 'Sorbent' Roling again cleaning up the tail with 3fa.

BB boosted his batting average this season into double figures today ;)

I must say Pidge, i didnt think getting out the opening batsman is 'cleaning the tail' :S

But i must say getting number 8 and 9 out wasnt that big of an achievement haha. But you and azza bowled very well again today

Great win by the Roos yesterday against AC Blues.

Well set up by a good performance in the field (with the exception of Captain Cant Catch  ) and some great bowling, especially Clarkson with 5/15 (the top five batsman)

With the bat A Frith and Eddie scored some quick runs and then didnt the run rate slow with Holland and Norton  but very happy to get a decent hit and score some runs.

A's made 9/159 from 38 overs, Rose Park fell 14 runs short.

Tarca made 70 odd not out and it was great to watch, Cuz hit 34 and not many other than that.
De Ionno smashed us round and ended up on 80 something and almost won them the game. Wilson ended up with 4, Hoddo with 4 and Rich took one.
Not a bad game in the end.

Fair Assesment Bored. Game was rain reduced to 30 overs a side. Thought Vista's score was about par, and then Rose Park shot themselves in the foot getting to 5 for SFA! Only De Ionno's (the one who likes chatting Auto) innings which included 8 sixes (smasha would have loved it) kept us in the game. Needing 14 off the last to win, he holed out at Long Off. Would have been interesting if he'd got another few metres on that hit, and Rose Park might have pinched it as we were always behind the 8 ball, after our poor start with the bat.

Obviously the clowns playing for churches are confused, must think its golf where the lowest score wins!?

RUBBISH shot selection, no application, no patience, no ability!!

Rolled for 53, i think.
Graham-Vanderbyl scored an flukey 10 runs and top score - dropped 4 times!
Matt Sandford - worked hard, only made a couple opening the batting but applied himself, blokes could learn alot from kid who looks like that fat kid from charlie and the chocolate factory!
Jon Smith - batted for what seemed 2 days for a hard earnt 9 runs, and the best of the spastics.
Matt Stancl - USELESS
Jeremy Borgas - USELESS
Tyson 'Hollywood' Roling - Not his day, got out to one of the most p!ss poor shots ever.. WEAK!
Paul Wright - USELESS!!
Michael Spry - as much as it pains me, bowled pretty well to start then bowled the TRIPE we know he can in his last 2.. pack your bags, im backing you in for Sydney, done enough today i reckon.
Adam Gully - Cost Smasha a 100 with his lazy poor running between wickets. His bowling was pedestrian but tidy.. lacked variation.. clearly a ONE BALL BANDIT!
Brett Tarca - USELESS! Gloved well though..
Andrew Balding - hit THE BIGGEST SIX i have ever seen!! Can confirm i will masturbate later to the memory of it! And bowled a treat.

Missing someone? oh yeah...

SHAUN "BUCKET A$$" HOLLAND!!! UUUUUUUUSELESSS!!!! Got a quack, bowled snot and really the team had to carry him in the field.
How does this bloke get the captaincy? Hows this bloke even get a game? Scrapping the bottom of the barrell, cant do anything in Div2 let alone anywhere else.

Beat up old fat bloke whose living in the glory days!!

Yes Shaun Holland was very average today! Seems he is all talk and hot air, talking up a big Sunday arvo at the pub until the wife showed up and he was like a little boy scared of his mums backlash!

Dare say what you like haha!! I dont care. You assoc should be ashamed by the performance they put in today plain and simple. I think an u/14s side has more value for their wicket and better shot selection than that pack of 'tards that took the field today.

Hope they learnt a lesson.. you can be a hero and a big fish on a Saturday for your club, but there are always plenty better and your not the best..

we played poorly and we all know it well done to pdca for their win. back to the drawing board for us im afraid. yeah I am pi$$ed of but what can you do????? try again I suppose.

All i'll say is meh who cares the result. Honestly what do these SAMCA matches count for anymore anyway? At the end of the day i personally seen this game as a warm up preparation for the side to Sydney, for a chance for the fringe players (Spry, Sandford) to step up and show something out make it hard for the Herder to overlook them.
And to me both Spry and Sandford did enough to warrant a ticket to Sydney in my opinion!

The side was young in general and i think they showed through. Conditions weren't favorable early either, def a toss that needed to be won and a clear lack of experience in those conditions shone through.

Thought the bowlers battled well to make something of a game of it, and grabbing 3 wickets was a decent effort.

This blokes need to take the experience, learn from it, work on what ever they need to and grow closer as a team if they want to be successfull in Sydney.

I would like to back up smasha's thoughts. I could not make it to the game today but these 12 blokes put their hands up for our Association. More than we can say for most of us. As a player ending his career it is great to see us giving a go to the young guys that come to training and show promise. I applaud Goat hearder for the work he has done. I hope he can get a stong team together for sydney. I am sure they will make all of us proud.

to the young guys that played today, dont read to much into it, yes some bad shots were made but take what you saw and put into the memory banks and play YOUR game . WAS GOOD TO SEE ALL BACKING EACH OTHER IN THE FIELD AND WHAT i SAW IS A GOOD FUTURE FOR ASSOC.
will take some time but we will be back in the folds soon. keep talking to your mates and get them to training. dutchy well captained in the field today mate. oh yeah I would like to bat a bit higher next time  ;) I dont like being not out , seems like a waste of a boundary  was a good six though 8)
