For anyone interested (ie Plympton boys) Ramblers v Belair is on Sunday from 12pm at Hawthorndene.

Yep, i completely agree. Us and Cove only had one day to play. Simply because the game before they didnt play on time so they bit into one of our weeks. The following week was "too soon", and then they couldnt play the last sunday because of a club function. The left only one sunday to be played. We did it because we were under the impression it had to be played before the next meeting.

I understand Sheidow played numerous games in the other comp on Sundays, but im sorry, you knew what you were getting yourselves into and therefore should have had it done in time. Part of the reason we didnt go in that comp is because we didnt want to play so many sundays close together. If we knew we could get such scope to change the rules, we may have played in that comp.

I mentioned to John Voyzey (who runs the comp IIRC) that next year, there should be a fee of some sort (i suggested $100), IMO it should be round robin (play 3 games each), have set dates by the association, with no scope to move (club functions to be organised around the t20s), and umpires to be organised with plenty of time up their sleeves for all games. Couldnt be that hard could it?? the only problem would be the lack of organisation by SAMCA and announcing dates for their games, but could easily be worked around.

Sheidow are waiting for whenever D. Sampson decides he is ready, Think you might be getting mixed up

Not what was said at the meeting. ICC stated they couldnt play their game because Sheidow had played too many other t20 games

And gowser, for your infomation iv done 95% of all grades books so far this season! I'm sure if enough people had the passwords or what not for each club it could be done Saturday night! I'm purely looking at it for someone who loves to check scores straight after games that's all! Lazy probably wasn't the right word but atleast the fish got on the line this time instead of me being hooked on from you Gowser ;)

Good results for youth centre today that's for sure!

asshole! i will pay that.

ICC should have stated they were not wanting to risk playing a T20 against Sheidow without D Sampson ;) coz they might lose again. :D

SR 105
WYC 6/55 (maysy 5/19 off 14 overs) Had to face 32 overs.

We bowled really well to a weak SR batting line up. South Road have bowled extremely well, especially maysy. His 13 over opening spell was great. SR simply gave us nothing to hit or even rotate the strike off. Bowled some cracking yorkers aswell

dissapointing effort with the bat from us but cant take anything away from hoppy, bowled a treat.
supurb effort from our bowlers. with only 105 on the board to bowl us into a position where we r a chance of winning is a great effort. Maysie bowled brilliantly. Full and straight and got rewarded. 16 wickets for the year, averaging about 7, puts him up with the best in the comp.

NO! Who does!

And Rusty K came in for finals last year, so I would think the same might happen again.

ramblers 136 belair 115 ish. ferris top scored for ramblers with 43 in very quick time. his dismissal very dubious. wickets shared around with justin "paddington bear" calderbank taking three. as well as an absolute blinder of a catch in the deep

on another note stef basso of ana should be appluaded for his good sportsmanship yesterday in sect 1. given not out incorrectly he decided to walk. first time i have ever seen that done by any batsman from any team. just goes to show sportsmanship is not dead in asca. however our b grade lads would strongly disagree after one of their games this year turned into a complete farce.
