Gautam Gambhir about to bring up his second successive century.

I watched the replay this morning, weak performance from NZ, India did it far too easily and won by 9 wickets with 63 balls remaining. Gambhir was on fire, making 126 from 117 balls.

Interesting match this 5th one dayer, NZ bowled out for 103, Styris top scoring with 24. Nathan McCullum and Vettori open the bowling; McCullum getting the first wicket. Gambhir goes for no score; didn't hit it. Kettleborough appears to say no, then raise the finger after a long appeal. Gambhir goes off shaking his head. Snicko shows nothing. A couple of vociferous appeals later, Vettori gets the 2nd wicket at 2-10; big edge going to slip, Vettori turning around and appealing sarcastically. Wonder if he will be losing some of his match fee for that?

Dont worry about the match fees, what about :

Great captaincy to open with 2 spinners and have India reeling at 2/10
Then VetDERRRRtori at about 7 overs and 2/25ish drags both spinners onj a spinning minefield
Defending 103 means the game will be over in 30 odd overs
Why not bowl your best 3 bowlers
Fancy bring on Scott Styris b4 first change

The indians couldnt play spin too flash. Couple of plumb lbw's not given, could have been 4 fa not a lot. Then vettori the twat drags himself and mccullum who is turning it a mile. Crap captaincy. Brings on styris who is crap. If vettori had left himself on could have been interesting
