This bloke has played 50 odd leauge games at 20
Also at 19 or even 18 played for the SANFL against the VFL at Adelaide Oval

my current club has no juniors except 8,9 and 10s..they are re-building..you have a problem with that? or is your use of third person sarcasm supposed to be humourous?

facts are facts..if they dont fit with what YOU want to believe then thats your dilemna..

I am also one that has been around the MSJFL along time and as much as we have rivarly with Unley they don't poach players. You cannot judge a club by having JUNIOR players playing with them. JUNIOR players have their parents drivig them maybe your club isnt good enough.

wth are you trying to say? ..are you drunk?

i know first hand exactly what went on as my son was approached as were his mates..so dont call me a liar or my son..and jetters..ditto..and i WILL ask how you know some figure like 160 players on their books 4 year ago..they are not the sort of stats someone just carries around..my 2nd year at clg so i am not 100% accurate on their history..sorry oh great one :)

In regards to recruiting...I've made my point and am over it.

players on the books means little if they are not active..callington probably have 100 on their books as well..how many teams did they have in 2006 and 2007?

That is a huge get for Unley, he is a man mountain and a bloody good player, he absolutly ripped me in half with a bumb in a Semi final, was a scary unit when 18 was the same size then as he is now, is Perry still playing there, if so thats a F**kn good forward line

Thank you Muffler...your a wise unit.
Can imagine a kid or snr player for that matter speaking to his parents or mates about playing footy...
"where are you playing this year?"
"have to change clubs, I've been 'poached'!'
"Ah that's a shame, well I guess its out of our hands now...'

Zedman you are clearly a bit rusty on the old CLG history, you didnt know how many teams they had last year. As for the 160 bit, that is active players, I keep that stat in a little bit of paper in my back pocket.

Hall already there. Cooper came half way through the season with other connections to the club.

do you have trouble reading jetters?..i said i was in my 2nd year at clg so i am not 100% on their history..how do you know all 160 were active..please explain how you at unley knew 160 kids from clg were all active 4 years ago..and you can try and be funny but deep down both you and i know what went on..and it went like this:

"got a phone call from the unley coach about playing football next year"
"what?..how did he get your number?"
"dont know..asked me to come out to their preseason and is ringing the other guys in the team"
"but you already play at ******..why is he doing that?"
"i dont know"
"well if you change clubs it certainly wont be to go to unley"

attempting to poach and being poached are the same..just because someone doesnt join doesnt change the intention..

oh and muffler..mitcham also contacted up to 4 lads in the team including my son..requesting they come and train at UHS pre-season..and not in february or march of 2010..in late 2009..

so maybe you better check your own backyard to..

Our A Grade squad trained at Paralowie High last night mate, so not sure who it was down at the Snakepit but sounds good for the club.

I've heard your in career-best nick, would've taken them to town on the sand?

Zedman its a shame you didnt encourage your son to play at Unley or Mitcham because they both have a very good junior programs and I'm sure he would have enjoyed his experience.
We had 9 ex-jnrs in rnd 18, plus quite a few ex-Mercedes College which we have a close association with.
Numbers of players is common knowledge between the clubs and is the leagues numbers not whats on club books.

No trouble reading, just thought you would know how many jnr teams you had in that year you were there.

Ah yeah I know who you're referring to, haven't seen him at training yet.

Broken down again? Maybe stick with coaching? ;)
