The one area i do see a problem is *************** and to me that would mean he would struggle as an opener, tho he has improved this year from last. I still think sheild him a bit at 6 or 7 till he settles into A grade then move him up. Knowing BB tho anything is possible.

Sheild him at 6 or 7? Did you have your eyes closed the whole time you were at the other end in the second dig against us Auto? He was hitting us round the park and he would have been not out at the end with you if JS didn't pull out a contender to catch of the year to get rid of him.

If he bats like that all the time he will make runs.

Maybe if Fitzroy stopped trying to "sheild" their best batsman they wouldnt get rolled for **** all in grand finals.. maybe they missed the memo - golf is lowest score wins not cricket!!

You have to stay at 'roys, your part of their "help the needy" program.. that and no other club would tolerate your ridiculous comments such as "keep Marcus North in the aussie side" and "Andrew McDonald is amaaaazing"

Andrew McDonald is good though. Generally goes for less than 2 runs an over each match.. Gets the odd wicket, but the thing is he dries the runs up. This creates pressure on the batters and with a good bowler at the other end the wickets will come.
And for a guy who can't bat, he's hit 3 hundreds already this season.. Two in the same match against NSW with half the Australia team in it.
If he wasn't out injured surely he'd be in the Aussie team at the moment..
