Wark* has not signed with Jets, although I hope he does.
Zedman you continue to talk rubbish and twist and exaggerate what people say. I said I think promoting and developing jnrs is the way to build a club that will be successful long term, I didn't speak about any definative club policy, although I do think that that is the path we are taking, especially with the implementation of an u/18s this year. Either way Warky is around the club a lot, mates with a big group and would be a great asset to us and fit well into club culture.

How are the juniors going at you club Zedman, good program down there??

Quote me.

Still very interested in how your club is bringing up its next batch of young players? ...Lots of work being done there hmmm? Putting in the hard yards eh?... Blood, sweat and tears? ...no, didnt think so. So don't try and a rip on a club that is doing the right thing.

if you mean ringing up juniors from other clubs in the MSJFL and poaching them then yeah your club is the best at it..want a medal?

my current club has no juniors except 8,9 and 10s..they are re-building..you have a problem with that? or is your use of third person sarcasm supposed to be humourous?

facts are facts..if they dont fit with what YOU want to believe then thats your dilemna..

Poaching...pretty sure kids play where they have fun!
Good to hear you guys are rebuilding, because you have been going in the wrong direction for many yrs 2010 included, but still have a crack at my club. But 3 teams in 2011 would mean a 50% increase in sides!

What 'facts' are you refering to?

I think everyone would agree with you, but you made it sound like Unley were the only ones onto this, while WOS and Salisbury with multiple potential recruits were the epitomy of stupidity or deserving of ridicule.

Smart.

Sounds like an ideal recruit. For the record I believe all our recruits that were mentioned fit this description and from what I've heard of Salisbury's, their's are all former players.

Don't think anyone wants to get caught out like Brahma Lodge just did.

Apparently Nick "Hussdog" Hussey from Unley is having a massive preseason this summer and promises to be the most electrifying wingman in the competition. His speed and skills last year were outstanding, and with a little bit of extra hard work over the summer he should be really damaging for the Jetters in 2011.

I'm still sticking with kids play to have fun. Surely a player will only leave a club if they want to.
CLG had 2 teams, an u8s and u11s in 2010. Its called bottoming out. shows your lack of knowledge about your jnrs. Nothing to suggest change either.
We will have an u/18s in 2011 and fill that top wrung.
I never said Jets don't recruit, nor did I say or imply we are special or rare. I gave my opinion about recruiting, particularly recruiting people not linked to the club, and developing Jnrs and defended the clubs past actions. We picked up players from the country last year as we had a new coach with connections to Unley and Keith and a few of his Keith mates who are living in the city played for us. The previous year we got a new 'B' grade coach who came with a handful of guys who were not happy at Glenunga. And Wark...bloody hell, one bloke who wants to play with his mates...

You keep using words like 'poached' and 'raided' in all of your posts which suggest players have no free will in chosing where they play football and some how have been kidnapped by their new clubs.

Basically you talk sh!t

Hahaha. If his recent rise in cricketing ranks is anything to go by there may be a chance! With a big pre season he is sure to tear up the C grade, even more so if he can manage to keep his shoulder in place! Good man the Hussdog.

Sorry Zedman, you will find CLG had quite reasonable nunmbers a few years ago. Don't ask why I know this but they peaked at about 160 4 years ago and have withered away to about 35 now.
In regards to recruiting...I've made my point and am over it.

I am also one that has been around the MSJFL along time and as much as we have rivarly with Unley they don't poach players. You cannot judge a club by having JUNIOR players playing with them. JUNIOR players have their parents drivig them maybe your club isnt good enough.
