I heard Torrens Valley were talking to them too...

Heard they turned down $600 a game each in the SFL for a offer near the $1000 a game each at Onkas

I find all that very hard to believe (the last post that is)

Some of the dollar amounts being put against Onkas offers are just ridiculous. Not a chance.

correct, was talking to a local yank member who works in victor and the Darwin boys arnt coming back. Other big news out of Yank, Pratt has said he is staying on but apparently is getting offered huge $$$ from SFL and river land, whisper is he may not be able to keep saying no as the money will be too good to be true.

Bays have signed two SFL players, one has won a mail medal, Ken McGregor from crows, two x reserves south players and two amatuer div 1 players + 3 to 5 local players coming back from Adelaide.

Bays have signed two SFL players (2 x 3 = 6), one has won a mail medal, Ken McGregor from crows (3), two x reserves south players (2 x 3 = 6) and two amatuer div 1 players (2 x 3=6) + 3 to 5 local players coming back from Adelaide.

Don't know how they will fit them all in with the points they carry. I reckon that would be 21 points just there

A couple may have not played much footy over the past 2 seasons dropping there points down. Wouldn't Kenny be 4 points due to playing league in 09? Doesn't it go over the past 2 seasons, the higher level being your points value?

He played for Henley this year - 3 points, he would have been worth 4 points this year (2010). It really only matters where they played in 2010 - whether it be one game or a whole season.

Mail Medalist - Vick and Bachman at Cove, Guilhas at MV Park, Middleton and Prescot at Reynella - leaves Pomeroy

Encounter Bay crack me up, last year when we were giving them a hiding they were whinging about how much money they thought we were paying players (this of course is after 10 years of Victor struggling and playing basically all locals). Now they're going out and doing the same thing. :? Good luck to them hopefully they're more competitive.

And on the Ellis boys, unfortunately they are heading elsewhere i have heard Onka's but don't know for how much. Good lads, good luck to them.

i think but not sure as I am not a recruiter but SLF players x 2 = 6 points, crows player = 3 points, amatuer league players x 2 = 3 points (as one is a return player to the bays), x reserves south Adelaide x 2 = 0 points as locals, so from what i can gather dont we have 15 points and only used 12?

I am sure that the bays have the points worked out and most clubs will over compensate with points anyway to allow for injuries. Horrocks and Neale returning, who would be the south reserves players which will provide plenty. 2 good youngsters who are 0 pointers.

Agree there LuvsFooty. It pays to have that few extra points...How is the recruiting going at Goolwa.Have all of last years points players signed on for next season yet.

Not a lot happening down our way. A few returning players and a couple of others (no massive names like Ken McGregor). As far as I know last years list has been maintained
