Willie has had his issues with bowling this year and being a confidence person, has played on his mind a bit which obviously in turn affects his bowling more.

I can assure you he is working hard on fixing this problem and im sure you'll see far improved performances after the new year.

Not yet mate, unfortunately work takes priority on my day to day duties, I'm snowed under atm, I'm trying to find that window of opportunity to tally up the tips and the bets, looking good for this afternoon.

where does he stand in the way of pace compared to blokes such as Kenny McConnell, Willy Serle, Glenn North, Dwayne Jones.

Glenn
Dwayne
Willie
Jimmy
Kenny

He certainly pushes them through at times though.

Edit - On further reflection, not much between the middle three. Dwayne was just harder to face due to his height.

only faced glen in 01 and he wasnt that quick when was he at his best? .. So from what i have faced jim would be up the top with jones the hardest to face..

Mid 90's mate. Was head and shoulders ahead of everyone else at that time.

Took a Grade 1 record 8/15 against Central Districts in a semi Final which is the best spell I have ever seen. He played his 200th game on the weekend just gone in the D Grade with his brother and nephew.

Pace is a funny one. Everyone feels different against different bowlers. Without a speed gun, its very hard to tell.
All the guys listed were/are sharp thats for sure.

Any truth a player took of in his car the minute after getting out on the weekend.

Apparently the second time in two weeks this has happened.

Poor Glenn suffered the same as me, lacked height, made it way harder on turf to bowl a good bouncer.

His name is not Andy!

Minus the beard and the black skin it kind of looks like the bloke in question though.

shane has been a great servant of OTH for many years now. he has done everythin the club has asked him, and has done a good job of captaining the A grade in previous years also. to call it disgraceful or call him selfish is a joke gunnerson. clearly ur just coming on here to stir sh!t up with people from OTH and it aint happening. i know everyone from the club has huge amounts of respect for him, and the fact he has left the club would not have changed that one bit. he his welcome back any time

Gee you have changed your tune since Matt Rogers left, I wonder if you got peppered at training or you got told to pull your head in and keep your comments positive.
Obviously Gunnerson has hit a nerve with you as you have bothered to respond, I thought your skipper wrote the subject was closed but you have just reopened it. ;)

nah nobody has peppered me or said anythin to me from the club since i said what i said. but what has happened with shane is a totally different situation than the matt rogers situation. but if u read what i said about matt rogers later and said my comments were taken out of context and misinterpreted n that i wasnt callin him selfish or nuthin. i just said he had goals elsewhere. shane wants to try his hand at turf, he has the quality and will hopefully do well there. and would be welcomed back by all at OTH. its got nothin to do with anyone sayin anythin to me

He has got to play 1st..
Pulled out late against Ingle Farm last week..
Got the impression a couple of his team mates are worried about how many games he will play ???

Mate! I am here voicing my opinion, i am not here to get stuck into you blokes.
It seems you are worried about what you write on here, because you might get a phone call from someone saying pull your head in, toughen up a bit young man for once.
